Abstract

This study aims to examine the integration of Islamic educational values in the development of entrepreneurship within the educational sphere. Through a qualitative descriptive literature study approach, this research analyzes various secondary sources such as journal articles and relevant academic books. The findings identify Islamic educational values that have significant relevance to entrepreneurship, including honesty (siddiq), trust (amanah), halal principles, avoidance of riba (usury), leadership, responsibility, hard work, creativity, and innovation. This study also explores strategies for implementing this integration within curricula, teaching methods, training, and entrepreneurship programs in Islamic educational institutions. Additionally, it examines internal and external challenges as well as opportunities in developing entrepreneurship based on Islamic values. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic educational values and entrepreneurship development in shaping Indonesia's younger generation to be not only morally upright and independent but also to possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam dalam pengembangan kewirausahaan di lingkup pendidikan. Melalui pendekatan studi literatur kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai sumber sekunder seperti artikel jurnal dan buku ilmiah yang relevan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam yang memiliki relevansi signifikan dengan kewirausahaan, termasuk kejujuran (siddiq), kepercayaan (amanah), kehalalan, menghindari riba, kepemimpinan, tanggung jawab, kerja keras, kreativitas, dan inovasi. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi strategi implementasi integrasi ini dalam kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, pelatihan, dan program kewirausahaan di lembaga pendidikan Islam. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengkaji tantangan internal dan eksternal serta peluang yang ada dalam mengembangkan kewirausahaan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai pendidikan Islam dan pengembangan kewirausahaan dalam membentuk generasi muda Indonesia yang tidak hanya berakhlak mulia dan mandiri, tetapi juga memiliki jiwa wirausaha yang kuat.

Abstract

This article introduces a qualitative study to explore the process of life crafting to attain work-life balance (WLB) for Muslim women as academia has a triple burden in the context of career women in Indonesia. This study uses a phenomenological approach, collecting data using semi-structured in-depth interviews, and thematic analysis as a data analysis technique. Participants are full-time employed women (academics), have families, are continuing their studies, and have professional qualifications (N = 8). The findings show the dynamics of Life Crafting that underlies the work and non-work domains that affect the attainment of work-life balance in women participants working while studying. Participants were found to understand and achieve their work-life balance differently according to their personal traits. This study contributes to current knowledge about career and life issues through the perspectives and work-life experiences of professional women in Indonesia.
