Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran dalam pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan formal yang berlangsung disekolah, merupakan interaksi aktif antara guru dan siswa. Tugas dan tanggung-jawab utama seorang guru adalah mengelola pembelajaran dengan lebih efektif, dinamis, efisien, dan positif, yang ditandai dengan adanya kesadaran dan keterlibatan aktif di antara dua subjek pembelajaran. Guru sebagai penginisiatif awal dan pengarah serta pembimbing, sedangkan siswa  sebagai yang mengalami dan terlibat aktif untuk memperoleh perubahan diri dalam pembelajaran (Rohani, 2004: 1).  Peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran, bukanlah mendominasi, tetapi membimbing dan mengarahkan siswa untuk aktif memperoleh pemahamannya berdasarkan segala informasi yang siswa temukan dari lingkungannya.  Menurut Lie (2008: 6), strategi yang paling sering digunakan untuk mengaktifkan siswa adalah melibatkan siswa dalam diskusi dengan seluruh kelas. Tetapi strategi ini tidak terlalu efektif walaupun guru sudah berusaha dan mendorong siswa untuk berpartisipasi.

Abstract

AbstractStudents‟ achievement in writing descriptive text is very low, in this study Realia was applied to solve the problem. Action research in conducted for the result and the technique to collect the data, qualitative and quantitative are applied in this research. The subject of this research is grade VII in Junior High School (SMP N 2 ) Kisaran. In the first evaluation (66, 2926) increased to the mean of second evaluation (76, 7560) and the mean of third evaluation (87, 0243). Observation result showed that the students gave their good attitudes and responses during teaching and learning process by applying the application of Realia. Questionnaire and interview report showed that students agree that the application of Realia had helped them in writing descriptive text. It can be conclude that the students‟ achievement is improved when thay are tought through Realia.Key Words: Achievement, Writing, Descriptive Text and Realia

Abstract

Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is a component of the development index and quality of life index which is calculated by taking into account and considering women's health status (MMR). The aim of this research is to determine the factors associated with hyperemesis gravidarum at the Birem Bayuem Community Health Center in 2024. The design of this research is an analytical survey using a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was all 1st trimester pregnant women who visited ANC at the Birem Bayuem Community Health Center in 2024, namely 26 pregnant women. The results of the analysis using the Telst Chi-sqularel test showed a value of p=0.008 (95% CI 1.522-26.081). Mothers who are working have a rate of 6,300 times more likely to experience hyperreleasing disease compared to mothers who are not working. It is hoped that by increasing the number of antenatal care, follow-up or maternal visits in research will reduce the number of cases of hyperelelmosis. Apart from that, it is highly recommended that you learn about health regularly by actively asking health professionals every time you visit a health care facility.
