Abstract

Many students struggle to understand length measurement, especially when solving real-life story problems. This reflects weak mathematical connection skills. Furthermore, students’ reluctance to collaborate with peers indicates a low cooperative learning profile. To address this issue, this study examines the impact of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model, supported by the traditional game gatrik, on students’ mathematical connection skills and cooperation profile. A sequential explanatory mixed-method approach was used. Data were collected through tests, questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Quantitative data were analyzed using t-tests, while qualitative data were examined using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, combined with Yin’s time series analysis. The results show that the TGT model with gatrik significantly improves both mathematical connection skills and cooperative behavior. This study provides insights for teachers to strengthen students’ mathematical and social competencies and serves as a reference for future research on cooperative learning and contextual media in education.

Abstract

Hasil PISA 2023 masih menempatkan Indonesia di peringkat yang rendah. Rata-rata nilai PISA pada bidang literasi numerasi adalah 366 poin, berjarak 106 poin dari nilai rata-rata negara di dunia. Bahkan bidang literasi numerasi menjadi bidang dengan jumlah terbanyak dengan peserta didik yang masih memiliki kemampuan level rendah dibawah level dua. jumlahnya sebesar 82 persen. Padahal banyak penelitian yang mengangkat kegiatan literasi numerasi. Hal ini menjadi latar belakang untuk melakukan penelitian dengan judul “Analisis Kegiatan Literasi Numerasi di Sekolah Dasar Berdasarkan Indikator PISA 2023”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review (SLR). Kerangka teori yang digunakan adalah indikator PISA 2023 yang berjumlah dua indikator yaitu penalaran matematis dan penyelesaian matematis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini dari 22 artikel yang sudah dianalisis, masih sedikit artikel memiliki kategori tinggi. Indikator penalaran matematis hanya enam artikel dari 22 artikel sedangkan indikator penyelesaian matematis sembilan dari 22 artikel. Terlebih lagi tiga artikel kategori tinggi dari indikator penalaran matematis dan lima artikel kategori tinggi dari indikator penyelesaian matematis memiliki latar belakang menguji kemampuan literasi numerasi sehingga tidak berdampak signifikan pada peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi. Hal tersebut menggambarkan masih kurangnya penelitian yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi yang berstandar indikator PISA 2023.

Abstract

Education is one of the key aspects in the development of a society. Among them, it functions to build society, create cultural transformation, produce skilled workers, create tools for social control. However, there is moral degradation in society, including; The rise in cases of corruption, non-compliance with the law, violence and bullying, intolerance between religions, ethnicities and groups indicates that there are problems in education in society. This phenomenon is very rarely found in Kampung Naga. This is the background to this research. The aim is to analyze what educational practices exist in Kampung Naga using Ki Hajar Dewantara's tricenter theory of education. The research method used is ethnography and is complemented by literature study. The results of this research suggest that all educational practices in the village have a synergy of the three elements; be it family, school and community.  From these educational practices, the people of Kampung Naga have succeeded in maintaining their identity. Maintaining the culture and customs that have been passed down from our ancestors. And can prevent the influence of foreign cultures and strange trends that develop on social media.Â
