Abstract

Abstract

Kata Kunci: willingness to pay, contingent valuation methods, kebakaran hutan, sekolah diliburkan

Abstract

This study describes the use of correspondence analysis for examining the relationship between perception of the community, residing in Cipinang Muara village and Bukit Duri village, and the performance of Ciliwung watershed management. The correspondence analysis provided a particular method that was able to describe the data in an Euclidean space such that the results could be visually examined for structure of categorical variables included in the tables. The study found that perception of the community residing in Cipinang Muara village significantly differed from that in Bukit Duri village. The attributes that might influence such differences were linked to the institution achievement, and further could be divided into two groups. The first group includes flood, landslide, soil fertility, extra/ additional incomes, and transparent activity; while the second includes drought, spring facility, road facilities and aids, when disaster occurred. The combination of both perception of the community and the performance of Ciliwung watershed management suggests that community in Bukit Duri village had a bad perception on attributes drought, spring facility, road facilities, and aids when disaster occurred. Meanwhile, there was a bad perception for the community in Cipinang Muara village toward attributes flood, landslide, soil fertility, extra/ additional incomes, and transparent activity.

Abstract

The purpose of land use planning on a river basin or a watershed is "to promote the accomplishment of service wide objectives and targets" subject to the lands potential and the public's desires. This paper aimed to describe a representative formulation of the analitical hierarchi process and linear programming application and show how it may be modified for goal programming. The purposive sampling was used to collect primary data. From five persons were represented each stakeholders on a watershed. The secondary data was collected from the report of each stakeholders and internet. The results show that goal programing had generated considerable interest as a tool for land use planning in multiple goal situations. It does present problems in terms of somewhat difficult data requirements-linearity in its usual form, possible inferior solutions, and lack of explicit recognition of tradeoffs.

After this, the data were analyzedqualitatively. The results of this were used as the basis to to a survey on 100 consumers. This was analyzed using partial least square. It showed that the consumers have awarenesstowards CRS that was implemented by the companies, and therefore, they mediated theirrelationship by showing their belief and intention to purchase the products.
