<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRCdalam mengapresiasi cerita fiksi pada siswa kelas X.IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba, (2)mengetahui tingkat pencapaian siswa Kelas X.IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba dalammengapresiasi cerita fiksi melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC, dan (3) melaluimodel pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas X SMANdalam mengapresiasi cerita fiksi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjekpenelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X.IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1 Wanasaba Kecamatan WanasabaKabupaten Lombok Timur Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat, sebanyak 16 orang siswa yang terdiridari 8 orang perempuan dan 8 orang laki-laki pada tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 disemester ganjil.Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC dapatmeningkatkan kemampuan mengapresiasi cerita fiksi pada siswa kelas X.IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1Wanasaba Kecamatan Wanasaba Kabupaten Lombok Timur Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat yangdilihat dari hasil tes formatif pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa modelpembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengapresiasicerita fiksi. Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CIRC perlu dijadikan referensi dalam kegiatanpembelajaran, khususnya dalam mengapresiasi cerita fiksi.Kata kunci : Apresiasi Cerita Fiksi, Kooperatif tipe CIRCThis research aims (1) to know the implementation of cooperative learning in the case of theCIRC. type fiction at grade X.
