Abstract

Metode Demonstrasi diimplementasikan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) untukmeningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi peluang Kejadian Majemuk di XII IPS-2 SMANegeri 1 Selong. Hasil dari lembar pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa telahmeningkat dari rata-rata nilai siswa 73,4 pada siklus pertama menjadi 78,6 pada siklus kedua.Persentase siswa yang mendapat skor di atas nilai kelulusan meningkat dari 81,56% padasiklus pertama menjadi 87,33% pada siklus kedua. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapanmetode Demonstrasi dapat bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materipeluang kejadian.Kata kunci: Penelitian Tindakan, Peluang Kejadian, Metode Demonstrasi.Methods implemented in the action research Demonstration classes to enhance studentlearning outcomes on the material Compound Events opportunities in XII IPS-2 SMAN 1Selong. The result of the observation sheet shows that the activity of students has increasedfrom an average value of 73.4 students in the first cycle second cycle be 78.6. The percentageof students who scored above the value of graduation increased from 81.56% on first cycle be87.33% on the second cycle. The results show that the application of Demonstration methodcan be useful in improving student learning results content opportunities.Keywords: Action Research, the chance occurrence, the method of demonstration.
