Abstract

Setelah diagnosis HIV-AIDS ditegakkan, sangat penting mengetahui saat tepat untuk memulai terapi antiretroviral (ART). Hal ini karena pengobatan HIV-AIDS tidak sama dengan pengobatan penyakit lain, selain itu obat ARV harus diminum dalam jangka panjang atau seumur hidup sehingga membutuhkan tingkat kepatuhan tinggi. Untuk memulai terapi ARV, digunakan acuan gejala klinis dan pemeriksaan penunjang nilai CD4.After diagnosis of HIV-AIDS is established, the important thing is the timing to initiate antiretroviral therapy. This is because the treatment of HIV-AIDS is not the same as the treatment of other diseases, in addition to the ARV drugs must be taken in long term basis or even life-long, so compliance is very important. Clinical condition and laboratory value ( CD4 ) are used as a guide to start ARV treatment.
