Abstract

The problem faced by leather entrepreneurs in Magetan is concerned with the limitations of production capacity and design. So producers cannot meet buyers’ demand at a certain time. This problem can be overcome by making an alliance comprising several companies. This alternative is considered as the main solution on the problem.This alliance strategy model was proposed by Michael Yoshiro and Rosabeth Kanter. This alliance strategy can be of various forms which are, in fact, the basic forms of a marketing alliance including product or service alliance, promotional alliance, logistic alliance, and pricing collaborations.This reseacrh aims to give formulation strategy alternatives to be used by companies in making alliance. To obtain the exact strategy formulation requires the use of analysis tools, such as SWOT matrix, BCD matrix, and QSP matrix. It is started with an initial step of identifying both internal and external factors.The analysis of alliance strategy formulation on the leather companies by the use of SWOT, BCG, and QSPM recommend that the four strategies be done by each company with the priority order of application: (a) Strategic service alliance, (b) Strategic opportunity alliance, (c) Strategic pricing alliance, and (d) Strategic promotional alliance.

Abstract

Financial intelligence is the key to one's success in managing finances. the application of correct financial management, is expected to be able to get maximum benefits from the money they have, bills that swell and the ability to pay low will cause bad credit. The phenomenon of high non-performing loans shows that the financial literacy of some people, especially SME is low.  The objectives of this study are (1) To examine the effect of Financial Literacy on SME in Madiun on high or low socio-economic status, (2) Test the influence of Financial Literacy on SME players in Madiun on male SME actors or female SME actors, (3) Test influences Financial Literacy in SME in Madiun for SME business men with high socioeconomic status compared to female SME with low economic social status, (4) Testing the influence of Financial Literacy on SME entrepreneurs in Madiun for SME Women with socioeconomic status high compared to male SME actors with low socioeconomic status. This study used an experiment 2x2 between subjects. Laboratory experiments namely Experiments were designed using two, namely: socio-economic status (High, low) and Gender (male, female).  Participants were SME in Madiun city with 50 business units in processed food production,experimental furniture samples using random sampling, to classify subjects into experimental groups or control groups. As a result there were significant differences between male and female financial literacy, there were influences significant between high social status and low social status on financial literacy, men have a higher average financial literacy compared to  women, men with high social  status  are  higher  than women with low social status  evidenced  by  (mean = 20,7368)   higher   than    the low  social  status (mean = 18.0833),  women with high social status are higher than male gender with  low  social  status  as  evidenced  by  men  having an  average  financial  literacy (mean=20.6154)higher than women(mean=18.0833).

Abstract

The aim this study is to analyze the effect of leadership style (transformational and transactional) on employee behavior (in-role and extra-role), which mediated a political organization. The sample is 120 employees of Bank BRI in Madiun, a random sampling technique based on stem number of employees. Data analysis using SEM with LISREL program. The results of this study indicate that 1) Transformational leadership style has positive influence on behavior in the role of employees, 2) Transformational leadership style has no effect on extra-role behavior (Organizational citizenship behavior, OCB), 3) Transactional leadership style did not affect employees' behavior in role , 4) Transactional leadership style has positive influence on OCB behaviors (extra-role) of employees, 5) Transformational leadership style has positive influence on employees 'political organization, 6) Transactional leadership style has positive influence on employees' political organization, 7) Political organization negatively affect the behavior in the role of employees, 8) Political organization negatively affect the behavior of OCB (extra-role) of employees, 9) Political organization to mediate the influence of transformational leadership behaviors in the role of employees, 10 Political organizations mediate the influence of transformational leadership on OCB behavior (extra-role) employees, 11) Political organization to mediate the effect of transactional leadership role behavior in employees, and 12) Political organization to mediate the influence of transformational leadership on OCB behaviors (extra-role) of employees at Bank BRI in Madiun.Keywords: Transformational leadership style, Transactional Leadership Style, Political Organization, in-role behavior, extra-role behavior, and OCB
