Abstract

Storage of goods in public areas, such as in the Al Furqon Mosque, is often a problem due to the lack of adequate security systems due to the absence of guards. This raises the risk of losing goods, so an effective and efficient solution is needed. This study aims to design and implement an ESP 8266-based smart locker box that can be controlled via a smartphone to improve security and comfort in storing goods. The research method used is the waterfall system development model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, code, testing, and maintenance. This system is designed using the ESP 8266 module as the main controller connected to a smartphone application via a Wi-Fi connection. The main features include automatic locking and opening of the locker and notification of locker status via the application. The results of the study show that the smart locker box functions well, with a fast and accurate control response via a smartphone. This system has succeeded in improving the security of goods in storage areas, especially in public places such as mosques, by reducing the risk of losing goods. The impact of this research is the creation of an innovative technological solution to overcome security problems in storage areas without guards, as well as increasing the sense of security and comfort for users

Abstract

Pengembangan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program mahasiswa berdampak atau PM-BEM di Desa Patakbanteng, Kecamatan Kejajar, Kabupaten Wonosobo didasari dengan berbagai permasalahan yang dialami oleh masyarakat seperti terbuangnya energi pada alat penghangat ruangan, penurunan produktifitas petani dalam masa tunggu panen, hingga pengelolaan data koperasi merah putih yang masih manual dan kekurangan praktek dalam pemasaran online sehingga diperlukan program untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi dengan didampingi oleh tokoh akademik seperti dosen dan mahasiswa untuk melakukan pemberdayaan dalam wujud pengabdian kepada masyarakat sekaligus upaya untuk melakukan langkah kongkret untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat di wilayah pedesaaan. Metode yang dilakukan menggunakan metode service learning. Dimana mahasiswa mencari potensi yang ada didesa sekaligus mencari solusi permasalahan yang ada di desa. Hasil dari program ini keberhasilan kolaborasi pengembagan pemberdayaan antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat melalui lima pelatihan untuk mengatasi masalah dan meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat serta praktik efektif guna untuk mencapai kemandirian masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pembangunan ekonomi di desa sekaligus untuk memperkuat hubungan antara perguruan tinggi dan masyarakat. Dampak dalam Program ini tidak lain untuk memecahkan berbagai permasalahan yang terjadi di Desa Patakanteng dengan memberikan pelatihan dan penyuluhan kepada mitra program supaya bisa meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman materi dan kemandirian untuk pertumbungan ekonomi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan bersama Kelompok Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK) Desa Patakbanteng, Kecamatan Kejajar, Kabupaten Wonosobo, yang selama ini masih berfokus pada kegiatan rutin tanpa orientasi ekonomi produktif. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan ibu-ibu PKK dalam memanfaatkan digital marketing untuk memasarkan produk lokal seperti olahan carica dan hasil kebun musiman. Metode kegiatan menggunakan studi kasus dengan metode kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui penyampaian materi, praktik pembuatan akun bisnis di media sosial, simulasi konten promosi, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test, post-test, dan wawancara. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata pengetahuan peserta sebesar 77,81, sedangkan nilai post-test meningkat menjadi 94,06, yang menandakan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan digital marketing. Peserta mampu membuat konten visual menarik, menulis caption promosi efektif, serta mengelola akun bisnis daring secara mandiri. Program ini berdampak positif terhadap kepercayaan diri, motivasi berwirausaha, dan peningkatan potensi ekonomi keluarga. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal pemberdayaan perempuan desa melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi untuk memperkuat ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

Character education in village communities is essential for strengthening social responsibility, cooperation, independence, and moral awareness. However, evidence on how student engagement programs contribute to community-based character formation remains limited. This study examined a student engagement program implemented by the Student Executive Board of Universitas Sains Al-Qur’an in Patakbanteng Village, Wonosobo, Indonesia. A sequential exploratory mixed-method design was used. Qualitative data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to identify emerging character values during program activities. These findings informed a post-program questionnaire administered to community participants. Data were analyzed thematically and descriptively using percentage-based categorization. The findings showed that the program was associated with positive character outcomes among participating community members. The highest score was found in responsibility at 91.67%, followed by initiative and creativity at 90.67%, caring and independence at 90.33%, mutual cooperation at 90%, hard work and exemplary behavior at 89.67%, and discipline at 88%. All indicators were categorized as “very good.” Qualitative findings indicated that participatory activities, mentoring, group discussions, and collaborative problem-solving encouraged community members to become more active, disciplined, cooperative, and confident in managing local initiatives. The study suggests that student engagement programs can serve as contextual spaces for character education and community empowerment. Nevertheless, because the quantitative data were collected only after the program, the findings should be interpreted as post-program perceptions and observed tendencies rather than causal evidence of program impact. Future studies should use pre-post measurements, validated instruments, and comparison groups.
