Abstract

ABSTRAK Remaja yang merupakan kelompok yang rentan terhadap masalah nutrisi selama jangka waktu tertentu dan secara berkala dapat meningkat dengan cepat dan meningkatkan kognitif, dapat meningkatkan konsumsi nutrisi seimbang.Penyuluhan gizi seimbang di GKII Jemaat Bahtera Hebron Doyo Baru Kabupaten Jayapura bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran remaja mengenai pentingnya konsumsi makanan bergizi sesuai dengan prinsip gizi seimbang. Metode penyuluhan dilakukan melalui ceramah, media audio-visual,pembagian leaflet dan kuesioner pre post sebagai bahan edukasi dan evaluasi. Hasil penyuluhan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman remaja terhadap konsep pola makan seimbang dan akibat negatif pola makan tidak seimbang berdampak pada perilaku.Penyuluhan diharapkan dapat mendorong perubahan perilaku positif dalam pola makan remaja sehingga mendukung pertumbuhan Kesehatan yang optimal. Kata Kunci: Penyuluhan, Gizi Seimbang, Remaja, Distrik Doyo Baru, Jayapura  ABSTRACT Adolescents, a group vulnerable to nutritional problems over a period of time and capable of rapid and cognitive improvement, can increase their consumption of balanced nutrition. Balanced nutrition counseling at the GKII Bahtera Hebron Congregation in Doyo Baru, Jayapura Regency, aims to increase adolescent knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of consuming nutritious foods in accordance with the principles of balanced nutrition. The counseling method used lectures, audio-visual media, leaflet distribution, and pre-post questionnaires as educational and evaluation materials. The counseling results indicate that adolescents' understanding of the concept of a balanced diet and the negative consequences of an unbalanced diet impact their behavior. The counseling is expected to encourage positive behavioral changes in adolescents' eating patterns, thereby supporting optimal healthy growth. Keywords: Counseling, Balanced Nutrition, Adolescents, Doyo Baru District, Jayapura

Abstract

People need to know that many natural healthy foods come from local foods with high nutritional value to prevent various nutritional problems. The general aim of this research is to develop a balanced menu based on local Southwest Papuan food with the contents of Piringku as an effort to improve the consumption patterns of stunted children. The type of research used is experimental with a development research method approach. Research was carried out to prepare a 7-day food menu pattern using a local food menu based on balanced nutrition and to test the effectiveness of the product.This local food-based menu is made on a 7-day cycle to avoid boredom and refers to the dietary requirements of children under five, namely providing adequate nutrients for body growth and development. From the results of the hedonic test, it was found that the 7-day menu based on local food from Southwest Papua was varied, the portions were appropriate, the colors were attractive, liked, the taste was good and the texture was appropriate.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Konsumsi gizi seimbang sangat penting dalam Upaya mencegah dan mengatasi masalah gizi kurang pada balita. Program pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi tentang pengembangan menu gizi seimbang berbasis pangan lokal Papua Barat Daya dengan konsep “Isi Piringku” sebagai pendekatan untuk meningkatkan konsumsi gizi pada balita yang mengalami gizi kurang. Pendekatan ini melibatkan identifikasi pangan lokal yang tersedia, edukasi kepada ibu balita, serta penyusunan menu yang sesuai dengan prinsip gizi seimbang. Kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan mengenai pentingnya konsumsi makanan bergizi untuk tumbuh kembang anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pengembangan menu berbasis pangan lokal dengan metode isi piringku dalam Upaya penurunan kasus gizi kurang pada balita di Papua Barat Daya. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Gizi Seimbang, Pangan Lokal, Isi Piringku, Balita Gizi Kurang  ABSTRACT Consumption of balanced nutrition is very important in efforts to prevent and overcome malnutrition problems in toddlers. This community service program aims to provide education on the development of a balanced nutritional menu based on local food in Southwest Papua with the concept of "Isi Piringku" as an approach to increasing nutritional consumption in toddlers who are malnourished. This approach involves identifying available local food, educating mothers of toddlers, and preparing a menu that is in accordance with the principles of balanced nutrition. This activity includes counseling on the importance of consuming nutritious food for child growth and development. The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge about the development of a local food-based menu with the isi Piringku method in efforts to reduce cases of malnutrition in toddlers in Southwest Papua. Keywords: Education, Balanced Nutrition, Local Food, Isi Piringku, Malnourished Toddler
