Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat informasi kewiraswastaan, mengukur minat mahasiswa dalam berwiraswasta, menguji pengaruh  informasi kewiraswastaan terhadap minat berwiraswasta, serta mengetahui  pengaruh  informasi  kewiraswastaan  terhadap  minat  berwiraswasta  pada  mahasiswa  Pendidikan Teknik Mesin, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Semarang angkatan 2006. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode survai, dengan populasi 80 orang mahasiswa. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa minat mahasiswa untuk berwiraswasta  tergolong  baik. Tingkat  informasi  kewiraswastaan  yang  diterima mahasiswa  juga  tergolong  baik. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan besarnya pengaruh  informasi kewiraswastaan  terhadap minat berwiraswasta sebesar  49,28%. Hendaknya  semua  pihak  dapat memberikan  informasi  kewiraswastaan  kepada mahasiswa  dan mahasiswa juga aktif mencari informasi tersebut sehingga dapat menumbuhkan  jiwa entrepreneurship pada diri setiap mahasiswa.   Kata kunci: informasi kewiraswastaan, minat berwiraswastaThe objectives of  this research are  to know the entrepreneurial  information  level, to measure students’ interest  in being entrepreneurs,  to  test  the effect of entrepreneurial  information  toward students’  interest  to be entrepreneurs, and to identify the effect of entrepreneurial information toward students at echanical Engineering  Education  Faculty  of  Engineering  Semarang  State University  year  2006. This  research  used  survey method with population consisting of 80 students. The descriptive result shows that students’interest to be entrepreneurs is in good quality. The regressive analysis result shows that the percentage of entrepreneurial information effect toward students’ interest in being entrepreneurs is 49,28%. It is suggested that all people could explain entrepreneurial information to students. In turn, the students themselves should be active in grasping the information so their motivation and spirit to be entrepreneurs will grow.
