Abstract

This research aims to (1) Describe the role of teacher role models at SMP IT Mutiara Insani Delanggu (2) Describe the role of teacher role models in student moral training (3) Describe the factors inhibiting teacher role models. This research is field research. The approach used by the author in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation and documentation methods. The results of the research show that (1) the role of teacher role models at SMP IT Mutiara Insani is very influential on the formation of student morals because morals themselves are a commendable trait that is highly prioritized in schools (2) teacher role models in student moral training are influential and can have a positive effect on development students (3) factors inhibiting teacher role models, namely the lack of totality in providing moral training to students, parents at home in giving direction to their children, social factors and environmental factors which are very influential in forming good character.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of social media on the learning behaviors associated with Islamic religious education within the framework of the Merdeka curriculum at Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo High School. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research involved students from the 10th and 11th grades, selected through Probability Sampling techniques. Data were gathered via questionnaires and subsequently analyzed using descriptive statistics alongside SPSS version 25. 0. The findings indicated that the use of social media fell within the "medium" category, with 14 students classified under this designation, while learning behavior also aligned with the "medium" category, encompassing 9 students. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test produced a significance value of 0. 200, exceeding the 0. 05 threshold, while the linearity test yielded a significance value of 0. 764, also greater than 0. 05. Furthermore, the product moment hypothesis test resulted in a significance value of 0. 008.

Abstract

The main problem faced in this study is related to the importance of maintaining a marriage book for brides who have been legally married in religion and the State. With unexpected possibilities such as lost, damaged or ineligible marriage books, efforts are needed to issue duplicate marriage books published by the KUA of the ngawen sub-district of Gunungkidul Regency to people in need. In this study the authors used descriptive qualitative methods and a naturalistic phenomenological approach. Then, in collecting data in this study using observation in the research area, interviews with research subjects and informants, and also documentation in every research activity. The analysis of the research used is a field study technique on research subjects and research informants from the community and KUA employees of Ngawen sub- district, Gunungkidul. And to check the truth of the research data and the degree of trust in it, this research is carried out through capability, transferability, and objectivity. The results of this study indicate that the marriage book is very important and valuable for its owner after carrying out a legal marriage recognized by religion and the State. So that in the future it can be used for civil interests if needed, as well as showing the ease of managing the issuance of duplicate marriage books at the Religious Affairs Office of the Ngawen sub-district, Gunungkidul.

Abstract

Marriage in Islam is a sacred bond between a man and a woman to build a happy family in this world and the hereafter. However, various issues such as conflict, economic problems, and poor communication often trigger divorce. Islam permits talaq as a last resort, although it is highly discouraged. Amid the high divorce rates, the role of the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) becomes crucial—not only as a marriage registrar but also as a guide for prospective brides and grooms. Through premarital counseling, couples are provided with religious knowledge, household skills, and conflict resolution strategies. Unfortunately, many people are still unaware of the importance of this course. The low awareness is due to limited religious literacy and apathy towards family development. In fact, effective premarital courses can prevent divorce. Therefore, strengthening the role of the KUA and increasing public education are essential to create families that are sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler LCD dalam membangun disiplin berbahasa Arab santri di Pondok Pesantren MTA Karanganyar, kendala-kendala dalam membangun disiplin berbahasa Arab santri melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler LCD, dan mengetahui prestasi yang dicapai santri dalam mengunakan Bahasa Arab melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler LCD. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah Pondok Pesantren MTA Karanganyar. Metode deskriptif kualitatif yang peneliti digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dalam pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kegiatan ekstrakurikuler LCD termasuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang di ikuti oleh santri yang berminat saja, pelaksanaan nya di lakukan seminggu duakali pada hari Rabu sore dan Sabtu siang, pelaksanaan ekstrakurikuler ini dapat di katakan dapat membangun disiplin bahasa santri dalam kesehariannya, setidaknya dengan kegiatan LCD santri sudah berlatih berbicara dengan Bahasa Arab yang baik sesuai dengan kaidah sehingga hal tersebut bisa membiasakan santri untuk disiplin menggunakan Bahasa Arab dalam kesehariannya.

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to determine (1) the level of student discipline at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikmah Muhammadiyah Sukoharjo, (2) the relationship between character education and student discipline, and (3) the quality of character education implemented at the pesantren. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The subjects consisted of 20 tenth-grade students in the 2024–2025 academic year. Methods: ]Data were collected through character education and discipline questionnaires and were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, descriptive analysis, and Spearman’s rho correlation test due to the non-normal data distribution. Results: The results show that character education is categorized as high (85%), while student discipline is also categorized as high (75%). The Spearman correlation test produced a value of ρ = 0.673 with sig. 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a strong and significant relationship between character education and student discipline. The coefficient of determination of 45.3% indicates that character education contributes 45.3% to student discipline, while the remaining 54.7% is influenced by other factors. Novelty: Thus, the better the character education implemented, the higher the level of student discipline.
