Abstract

A decent and comfortable City for residence should have some life support infrastructure is infrastructure of drainage system. And it is well known that the drainage function in a scope of the urban environment is urgently needed in the drain surface water and puddle to tributaries or to retention. Flood or standing in a region still many settlements occurred in the city of Palembang. One of the areas that are often experienced a flood is the Ahmad Yani Village opposite the Ulu Subdistrict Point Ladder II. Method for calculating of flood discharge was approached by rational formulas, and rainfall data taken from the station Climatology class II Kenten. In analyzing the magnitude of rainfall intensity using equation mononobe. It starts with an understanding of the problem, the study of the literature relating to the problem so that the author can better understand these problems, data collection both primary and secondary data, dilanjukan by analyzing data that have become available so that the results obtained from the analysis of which will then be discussed. Existing conditions Drainage Channels In the region the way Ahmad Yani has the dimensions i.e. width 1.68 m and height channels 0.73 m, the magnitude of the 1.690 channel capacity m3/s, Debit Draft at the region the way Ahmad Yani in the village opposite the Ulu Subdistrict Point Ladder II Palembang with Period 2 year anniversary with debit flood 2.16 m3/s, 5 years with debit flood 2.94 m3/s , 10 years with debit flood 3.45 m3/s, with a 25-year flood discharge 4.10 m3/s, with a 50-year flood discharge 4.59 m3/sec and 100-year flood discharge with 5.07 m3/s, based on the results of the analysis of channel capacity (existing) do not meet or are not able to accommodate flood discharge, re-planning needs to be done so that the dimensions of the channel

Abstract

Bendung River is one of the nine Musi River’s streams located in Palembang. Its estuary is located on Jalan SlametRiyadi 10 ilir, Ilir Timur II Palembang. This river is affected by the annual cycle of the rainy season on September until April. The width of the drainage area of this Bendung river 15,4km2 and it is one of the rivers where flood often occurs. Based on the analysis which was done in the area of Kuto Bendung river in Palembang, the velue of the planning rain debit for ten years was 1,683m3/sec and the largest existing debit was 2,330m3/sec for S1 and S2 waterways, and 1,432m3/sec for S3 and S4 waterways. Thus, there should be further studies to solve the problem well or the correct way by making the dimension becomes larger or fixing it.

Abstract

Sungai Bendung merupakan salah satu anak Sungai Musi yang memiliki topografi yang relatif datar. Apabila terjadi hujan pada Sub DAS Bendung maka terjadi limpasan permukaan (run off) yang akan menyebabkan banjir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung besarnya debit limpasan permukaan (run off) pada Sub DAS BendungBagian TengahKota Palembang.Penelitian ini bersifat deskritif yang hanya menggunakan data sekunder.Tahapan dalam penelitian ini yaitu tahap studi pustaka, pengumpulan data, analisis curah hujan, dan analisis limpasan permukaan (run off).Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis limpasan permukaan (run off) adalah Metode Rasional.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa debit limpasan permukaan (run off) pada Sub DAS Bendung Bagian Tengah Kota Palembang untuk periode ulang 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, dan 100 tahun adalah 1.533 m3/det; 1.965 m3/det; 2.251 m3/det; 2.612 m3/det; 2.881 m3/det; dan 3.147 m3/det.Hasil dari simulasi aplikasi HecRas 4.1.5 adalah pada kala ulang 2 tahun terjadi banjir 0.1 m -0.25 m pada sta 0 m -1120 m, dan pada kala ulang 5 tahun terjadi banjir setinggi 0.1 m –0.45 m pada sta 0 m -1120 m.
