Abstract

This study aims to see whether awareness impacts the quality of life in early adulthood, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic. This research was conducted because Indonesia is currently experiencing the Corona Virus, better known as Covid 19, which is known to be known. This pandemic has a carom effect on many aspects. The public has started to feel the impact of the Corona Virus more than recently. Many people feel bored, cannot be productive, and even feel sad because of this situation. So that began to be done various ways to overcome this effect so as not to spread more widely. One of them is mindfulness, which is expected to affect how a person thinks and later will impact the quality of one’s life. The quality of life itself is very influential in a person’s life because it is related/covers almost all aspects of life, starting from emotional, social, and even physical in one’s life. If the quality of life is good, it cannot make someone feel prosperous and impact happiness, creativity, productivity, etc. Therefore, researchers want to see whether one’s awareness can affect aspects of the quality of life with this pandemic. This quantitative research uses a questionnaire as the primary data technique and uses SPSS ver.26 for data processing. The results showed that mindfulness has a relationship or can affect a person’s quality of life, especially individuals in early adulthood.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an impact during the Covid 19 pandemic on online shopping behaviour, especially for volunteers and people who are in the quarantine area of Wisma Atlet 2. Where the independent variable of this study is crisis covid 19, which will affect the dependent variable, namely consumer behavior towards online shopping. This research was conducted because currently, Indonesia is experiencing the Corona Virus or more. They are known as Covid 19. Handling and prevention efforts continue to be carried out to fight COVID-19, one of which is by carrying out quarantine both independently and in bulk. One of the places in Jakarta that is used as a place for quarantine is Wisma Atlet 2. Therefore, researchers want to see whether this pandemic can affect someone in shopping online. This research is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire from Icek Ajzen (Ajzen, 1991) as the main technique of data collection.The results show that online shopping behaviour has increased during the quarantine period.

Abstract

Dewasa ini banyak mahasiswa yang mengalami kepenatan akibat masa transisi dari perkuliahan online dengan onsite. Para mahasiswa mengalami kesulitan untuk tetap dapat fokus dalam jangka waktu yang lama untuk menghadapi perkuliahan onsite. Hal ini tentunya akan berpengaruh ke dalam proses pembelajaran mahasiswa tersebut (van den Wildenberg et al., 2022). Erat sekali fokus atau konsentrasi dalam belajar ini dengan istilah inhibitory control, dimana istilah ini merujuk pada kemampuan individu/seseorang untuk dapat mempertahankan fokusnya pada satu hal yang dirasa penting. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan fokus/konsentrasi mahasiswa akan dapat bertahan lebih lama dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang tidak memilikinya (Rabi et al., 2022). Mengingat pentingnya hal ini, maka diperlukan sebuah cara untuk dapat meningkatkan inhibitory control pada mahasiswa, salah satunya adalah dengan penerapan teknik mindfulness. Dimana teknik ini akan dapat mengajarkan kita ataupun para mahasiswa untuk dapat melatih konsentrasi dan fokus yang dimilikinya. Pengambilan data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental. Dimana peneliti akan menerapkan teknik mindfulness di dalam kelas, dan melihat efektifitasnya terhadap inhibitory control para mahasiswa melalui stroop test. Diharapkan dari penelitian ini akan dapat membawa dampak positif bagi para mahasiswa agar dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik dan menghasilkan mahasiswa yang berkompetensi.Kata kunci: Mindfullness, inhibitory control, mahasiswaKata kunci : Masa kehamilan, wanita bekerja, produktif

Abstract

Setiap individu pada hakikatnya menginginkan yang namanya keberhasilan di dalam hidupnya. Namun pada realitanya, akan ada banyak halangan yang terjadi pada saat individu ingin mencapai keberhasilan tersebut. Keseluruhan hal ini mampu untuk mempengaruhi individu baik secara fisik hingga psikis (Robson, 2023). Konflik dan dilema di seperti kondisi diatas bukanlah sesuatu yang bersifat anecdotal (Li et al., 2022). banyak pendapat yang mengatakan bahwa mahasiswa adalah individu-individu yang rentan mengalami ego depletion ini dikarenakan banyak tugas perkuliahan, tuntutan akademik, tuntutan orangtua/lingkungan, pengelolaan keuangan, hingga masalah interpersonal dan masih banyak lagi lainnya. hal ini akan mempengaruhi dari prestasi akademik, pemecahan masalah, kegagalan memenuhi tugas, kurangnya fokus/konsentrasi untuk belajar, hingga penurunan fungsi kognitif (Yang, 2022). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah eksperiment yang dimana kita membagi 2 kelompok yang masing masing berisikan 10 anggota dimana kelompok A merupakan kelompok kontrol dan B merupakan kelompok eksperimen. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ego deplemention memiliki pengaruh terhadap kreativitas yang dimana jika semakin banyak ego depletion terhadap seseorang maka kreativitas akan menurun, sedangkan semakin sedikit ego depletion terhadap seseorang maka kreativitas akan meningkat,

Abstract

Employee performance is often associated with work effectiveness, but if you look a step back, these two things stem from one thing, namely work stress. When employees experience stress at work, their performance will decrease. Likewise, their effectiveness at work will indirectly be affected and will ultimately have an impact on the company. There are various things that can make an employee experience stress at work, both from internal and external influences. For this reason, stress at work must be immediately followed up as a form of prevention against decreasing employee effectiveness at work. One of them is to apply stress management that can be done with the mindfulness method. When this method is applied, it is believed that it will reduce stress on employees not only in the work environment, but also in daily life. This method can make one's life more meaningful and happier so that it has an impact on one's mindset when dealing with a problem so that the welfare and mental health of employees will be able to improve. This improvement in conditions will provide many positive benefits for the company, and the individual itself of course.

Abstract

In the industrial world, organizational success in the VUCA era hinges on employee commitment, yet the "strawberry generation" (Generations Y and Z) is often perceived as lacking fortitude, posing a significant human resource challenge. While previous studies have explored partial relationships between learning agility, work engagement, and commitment, a critical research gap exists in examining their simultaneous impact on this specific demographic within the Indonesian context. This study aims to address this gap by investigating the relationship between learning agility, work engagement, and organizational commitment among 420 strawberry generation employees in Jakarta. A quantitative correlational design with purposive sampling was employed, utilizing the Learning Agility Assessment, UWES-9, and OCQ instruments. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The novelty of this research lies in its finding that both learning agility and work engagement have a significant positive relationship with organizational commitment (p < 0.05), both partially and simultaneously. This study concludes that fostering these internal competencies is a crucial strategy for enhancing the loyalty of the younger workforce. This provides a new framework for managing a generation often misunderstood, contributing a fresh perspective to organizational psychology. Di Dunia industri, keberhasilan organisasi di era VUCA bergantung pada komitmen karyawan, namun "generasi stroberi" (Generasi Y dan Z) sering dipersepsikan kurang memiliki ketahanan, yang menjadi tantangan sumber daya manusia yang signifikan. Meskipun studi sebelumnya telah mengeksplorasi hubungan antara variabel-variabel ini secara parsial, terdapat celah penelitian yang kritis dalam menguji dampak simultan keduanya pada demografi spesifik ini dalam konteks Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisi celah tersebut dengan menyelidiki hubungan antara learning agility, work engagement, dan komitmen organisasi pada 420 karyawan generasi stroberi di Jakarta. Desain kuantitatif korelasional dengan purposive sampling digunakan, memanfaatkan instrumen Learning Agility Assessment, UWES-9, dan OCQ. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada temuannya bahwa learning agility dan work engagement memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan komitmen organisasi (p < 0,05), baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa membina kompetensi internal ini adalah strategi krusial untuk meningkatkan loyalitas angkatan kerja muda. Hal ini memberikan kerangka kerja baru untuk mengelola generasi yang sering disalahpahami, serta menyumbangkan perspektif baru bagi psikologi organisasi.

Abstract

Career decision-making is a crucial phase in adolescents’ lives, often marked by confusion and a lack of self-understanding. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) in assisting high school students in identifying their interests, talents, and making appropriate career decisions. A qualitative case study approach was employed, focusing on a student, referred to as AD, who struggled with career decision-making despite strong academic performance. The intervention consisted of three individual counseling sessions based on the PCT approach, integrated with Gelatt’s five-step decision-making model. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and psychological assessments (graphic, cognitive, and interest tests). The findings revealed a significant improvement in self-awareness, understanding of personal interests, and AD’s self-confidence. Furthermore, the student’s career decision-making difficulty score decreased from a high to a low category. These results indicate that PCT is effective in fostering autonomy, clarifying self-identity, and facilitating more accurate career decisions. Although limited to a single participant, this study contributes to the development of more humanistic guidance strategies in school settings
