Abstract

Soil conditioner is materials that add to the soil. Soil conditioner can be improve soil structure, changing the capacity of the soil, hold and pull through the water, so it can support plant growth. This study aims to determine the effects of soil conditioner the germination and growth of rosella (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) on sandy and clay soil. This research was conducted at Laboratory of Biological Structure and Function of Plant Biology, Faculty of Sains and Mathematic, Diponegoro University. This research was designed by completely random design with factorial pattern 2 x 3. This treatment was replicated 3 time. Ratio of soil and soil conditioner is 75%:25%. The result data analized by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) continued by test Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) on 95% significance level. The parameters in this research were field capacity, viability, shoot length, number of leaf, fresh and dry weight. The results showed that addition soil conditioner from Salvinia molesta increase the germination of 20% and the addition soil conditioner from Eichhornia crassipes increase the germination of 30%. The addition soil conditioner from Salvinia molesta increase the plant growth of 17,45% and the addition soil conditioner from Eichhornia crassipes increase the plant growth of 20,94%. Application of the  addition soil conditioner from Eichhornia crassipes Solms. on clay soil more effective to increase field capacity, germination and plant growth of Hibiscus sabdariffa.

Abstract

Permukiman kumuh yang terdapat di kawasan Kabupaten Rembang mengalami perkembangan pada kurun waktu tahun 2006-2016. Adapun pemukiman kumuh yang terdapat di kawasan pusat Kota Rembang yaitu Di Kelurahan Tanjungsari dengan luas 21,43 Ha. Kelurahan Tanjungsari memiliki karakteristik yang beragam dalam bermasyarakat mulai dari jenis pekerjaan, tingkat pendidikan, kondisi ekonomi, hingga kondisi tempat hunian yang berbeda sehingga memicu Kelurahan Tanjungsari menjadi salah satu permukiman kumuh di Kota Rembang. Untuk mengetahui lebih dalam penyebab dari adanya permukiman kumuh di Kelurahan Tanjungsari maka dibutuhkan kajian yang lebih mendalam untuk mendeteksi kesamaan karakteristik penyebab dari permukiman kumuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan identifikasi permukiman kumuh di kawasan kota Rembang terkhususnya Kelurahan Tanjungsari berdasarkan karakteristik dan faktor penyebab kekumuhannya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deduktif kuantitatif, yaitu merupakan metode kuantitatif yang bersifat deduktif (dari umum ke khusus) karena berawal dari sebuah teori, dimana penelitian berawal dari adanya karakteristik sebuahpermukiman kumuh dan akan lebih dijabarkan pada karakteristik permukiman kumuh yang terjadi di kelurahan Tanjungsari Kabupaten Rembang. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mengujihipotesis dan menegakkan fakta-fakta atau kebenaran-kebenaran dari suatu teori permukiman kumuh.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the use of the Ibis Paint X application and the motivation to learn to design fashion at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. This research is a quantitative approach research with a correlational design. The population in this study is all students of class XI fashion at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga which totals 71 students, and the sample in this study uses total sampling, The sampling technique uses total sampling, namely making the population as a sample, there is a total sampling because the population is less than 100. The data collection technique used a Likert scale questionnaire. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Hypothesis test using Pearson correlation. The results of the study obtained that there was a significant relationship between the use of the Ibis Paint X application and the motivation to learn to design the fashion of grade XI students, the fashion show had a pearson correlation coefficient value of 0.559 and a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000. This shows that there is a relationship between the use of the Ibis Paint X application and the motivation to learn to design fashion in grade XI students of fashion at SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga with the correlation category being.
