Abstract

Teenagers live among the hustle bustle world, which makes them constantly have to think about anticipating problems and career in the future, to find solutions and solving problems in the past. These two conditions, added with the problem of their task to settle their identity often make adolescents stress, have relationship problems, experience certain psychological symptoms or disorders, and do not fully live in the moment. Mindfulness method is believed as a method that helps teen to live in the present. They can be fully focuses on what they are doing the moment, increase responsiveness and awareness while experiencing emotional distress This mindfulness method will be given in the webinar for Athalia High School students, consist of information and practical tips of mindfulness. The webinar will consist of two sessions, a conceptual introduction session on the theory and uses of mindfulness for adolescents and a mindfulness training session, with each session lasting 45 minutes. The question and answer session will conclude the webinar, followed by a survey of evaluation on the webinar.

Abstract

Pendidik dan kompetensi pendidik merupakan hal yang krusial bagi proses pembelajaran. Pendidik dalam hal ini guru yang memiliki kompetensi dan juga pembekalan yang memadai akan membantu proses pengajaran berjalan dengan lebih baik. Kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh guru bisa didapat dari bidang keilmuan yang sudah dipelajari dalam perkuliahan, maupun dari pelatihan atau pembekalan bidang ilmu lain. Yayasan Transformasi Bagimu Negeri merupakan Yayasan yang terpanggil untuk memperlengkapi dan juga melakukan program pembinaan bagi guru-guru yang akan ditempatkan pada area 3T (tertinggal, terluar dan terpencil) dan sudah memasuki tahun ke-5. Pembekalan yang dimaksud berupa Teacher Transformation Center, dengan salah satu programnya yaitu pembekalan mengenai Psikologi Perkembangan, Psikologi Belajar dan integrasi antara iman Kristen dan ilmu Psikologi. Pembekalan dilakukan selama dua hari berturut-turut dengan menggunakan metode campuran antara pemberian materi konseptual dengan aktivitas bagi 17 orang peserta. Hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan menyebutkan bahwa pembekalan ini relevan dengan tugas yang akan mereka jalani sebagai guru. Pembicara juga dinilai menguasai topik, berinteraksi dengan peserta serta memberikan dorongan untuk melakukan aplikasi pembelajaran di masa yang akan datang.guru; pembekalan; pelatihan psikologi.

Abstract

School counselors at Dian Harapan Lippo Village are confronted with students who consistently exhibit anxiety in both academic and non-academic domains. Poorly managed emotions not only affect academic performance but also disrupt social relationships with peers, teachers, and parents. Social emotional competence is crucial for adolescents as they navigate daily life stressors. A deficiency in social emotional competence can lead to emotional instability, resulting in increased stress and anxiety among adolescents. To address this, informational and skill-based interventions were provided through a series of mini seminars. The methodology included briefings on social emotional competency skills, reflective learning, and role-playing exercises to facilitate the application of the material. The seminars were targeted at students in grades 9 and 11, who are preparing for graduation exams and selecting their academic majors. Among the participants, 84 students provided feedback, with evaluations ranging from good to very good regarding the seminar's effectiveness.
