Abstract

Surgery is experience can anxiety. One of management extremity fractures is surgery with internal fixation inscrews, wires, and plates. The purpose this study to apply and prove effectiveness of Progressive MuscleRelaxation (PMR) in reducing patient anxiety in orthopedic treatment room at Fatmawati Hospital Jakarta.EBN (Evidence Based Nursing) this study using PICO model which was carried out on 8 patients withPreoperative Extremity Fractures. Anxiety levels using the State Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) instrument.The results of implementation evidence based nursing obtained an average anxiety score before PMR was64.25 with a standard deviation of 4.027. Meanwhile, the average anxiety score for PMR was 47.75 with astandard deviation of 3.955. The results of statistical analysis showed significant results, namely the value of p= 0.001. Every action taken must be based on the available evidence so as to improve the quality of service, soit is suggested that PMR can be used as a non-pharmacological intervention for nurses to help reduce patientanxiety.

Abstract

Nursing care provided by nurses greatly influences the quality of health services that patients willreceive. One of the efforts taken to improve the quality of nursing care is by applying VirginiaHenderson's theory. Objective: Application of Virginia Henderson's theory to patients with theNeglected Fracture of Left Shaft Femur. The methodology used case studies. Results: Theapplication of Virginia Henderson's theory was effectively applied to patients with the NeglectedFracture of Left Shaft Femur. Conclusion: Virginia Henderson's theory can be used in nursingcare for patients with Neglected Fracture Left Shaft Femur to increase independence due tophysical and psychological changes.

Abstract

Triage is a significant activity in an Emergency Room (ER). The triage nurture is the principal individual the patient experiences when going to the crisis room. Medical attendant's information on triage is key in dynamic in triage terms. Compelling dynamic can influence the accomplishment of activities taken to patients. This examination intends to decide the information and mentalities of medical caretakers towards triage in the ER RSUD Koja. The examination strategy utilizes an illustrative quantitative cross-sectional investigation led at the ER. The exploration instrument was as an organized poll created by specialists and depended on existing writing on triage in the ER. The testing method in this investigation is complete inspecting with an example size of 60 respondents. The outcomes indicated a noteworthy connection between the degree of information on crisis medical caretakers to triage with P-value = 0.030 and OR = 0.99. There is a noteworthy connection between the perspectives of crisis medical attendants towards triage with P- value = 0.002 and OR = 9.8. This investigation suggests that medical caretakers consistently go to preparing identified with crisis activities so the accomplishment of advancement of administrations in the crisis room as the front watchman of a hospital.
