Teknologi pendukung jenis check-in ini dapat memudahkan para calon penumpang. Tetapi, nyatanya masih banyak pengguna yang memilih untuk memakai check-in konvensional maupun check-in counter. Dalam penelitian, peneliti memilih metode kombinasi, (mixed method). Penelitian kombinasi (mixed methods) dengan cara mengambil sampel sebanyak 100 responden. Dalam peneitian ini menjadi variabel independen adalah mesin self check-in (X), yang telah di sediakan oleh maskapai Citilink di Bandar Udara Internasional Adisucipto Yogyakarta. Menjadikan variabel dalam penelitian ini dependen ialah kepuasan terhadap penumpang (Y), dan pada variabel ini adalah variabel utama untuk menjadikan faktor berlakunya dalam penelitian.
