Abstract

With the rapid growth of the information technology (IT) industry, companies face various challenges in managing projects efficiently. PT. Bodha Dharmaja Aryadhana (BDA), as an IT solution provider, encounters difficulties in project scheduling, mainly due to the continued reliance on Excel spreadsheets, which have several limitations. These include restricted accessibility, insufficient support for team collaboration, lack of automation features, and the risk of data loss. To address these issues, this research develops a web-based project scheduling information system. The research uses observation, interviews, and literature studies for data collection. System modeling is conducted using UML, while the application is developed with PHP and the Laravel framework, alongside a MySQL database. System testing is carried out using the black box method to ensure its functionality operates correctly. By implementing this web-based information system, PT. BDA is expected to optimize resource utilization, minimize the risk of project delays, and enhance transparency and communication, ultimately improving client satisfaction..

Abstract

The Youth Information and Counseling Center (PIK-R) at SMA Negeri 1 Bekasi plays an important role in providing counseling services to students, but it is currently facing several challenges. Difficulties in organizing student counseling messages, the absence of a computerized system, and slow report generation are the main issues that need to be addressed. These conditions hinder the efficiency of counseling services, which should be faster and more structured. Therefore, this research aims to design a web-based information system that can improve the management efficiency of counseling services at PIK-R. Utilizing modeling methods such as Unified Modeling Language (UML) in the form of Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and data normalization to maintain consistency and storage efficiency, this system is designed to provide an effective solution. The system is developed using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and a MySQL database, following the Waterfall approach. System testing is carried out using the BlackBox method to ensure all features function as required. With this information system, it is expected that the counseling process will become more organized, student data will be more easily accessed and managed, and report generation can be done more quickly and accurately.

Abstract

PT Berkat Audio Perkasa Jaya is a company engaged in car audio installation services. The administrative process is still done manually, including customer registration, scheduling, and financial reporting, causing delays and data errors. Therefore, this study aims to design a website-based information system to manage car audio service administration. The methods used include observation, interviews, and literature review. The system is designed using UML modeling and developed using PHP and MySQL. The results show that the developed system can automate administrative processes, increase efficiency, and support real-time decision-making.
