Abstract

The purpose of this study is to trace the sources of Luke 4:4 and its variants in order to provide a relevant explanation for believers in interpreting Luke 4:4. The research method used in this paper is the library research. This research examines more on old literature that contains relevant studies, namely early text, original or oldest text that became the source of writing the Scriptures. In particular, this research attends the stages of biblical text criticism which includes four stages, namely verbal criticism, external criticism, internal criticism, and rational criticism. This research finds that the short version of Luke 4:4 is really the writing of the evangelist Luke. It is sourced from the oldest manuscript in 253 fromOrigenes and several well-known manuscripts such as ℵ 01 or Codex Sinaiticus (4th century), B 03 orCodex Vaticanus (4th century) and W 032 or Codex Washingtonianus (5th century). The research alsodiscovers that scribes intentionally create variants of Luke 4:4 are similar to Matthew 4:4 to facilitate the understanding of the text. Lastly, this study encounters that Luke 4:4 variants comes from secondary language manuscripts, Matthew 4:4 and Deuteronomy 8:3. Abstract

This article presents an exegetical study of the text of Luk. 9:10-17 which recounts the miracle of Jesus feeding the five thousand. The research aims to uncover the theological, historical, and literary meanings of this pericope. It employs a textual criticism, historical context analysis, literary analysis, linguistic analysis, and the examination of major theological themes. The findings of this study indicate that the miracle of feeding the five thousand holds profound theological significance, including the affirmation of Jesus’s identity as the Messiah. This narrative also depicts a test of faith for the disciples and contains strong symbolism related to the Eucharist. This article provides a deep insight into one of the most well-known miracles of Jesus in the Christian tradition.

Abstract

This study is a literatur study with a descriptive approach. The main query of this articel is: “What is the meaning of sacraments as the special ways to encounter God?Its purpose is to maintain that the sacraments are the special ways to encounter Christ because, in the sacraments, Christ is present and doing our salvation. Because of Christ’s presence in the sacrament, they confer grace. God’s grace in the sacramental celebration is abundant. Grace is a gift from God, given freely at God’s initiative unmerited and undeserved by us. But this gift does not come cheap. To have a fruitful effect on one’s life, the sacraments must be received in a good (proper) disposition and the grace of the sacraments must be put into practice. Sacraments are the special ways to encounter Christ. They are “doors to the sacred,” the Holy One.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas hubungan antara Kitab Suci, Sabda Allah dan Gereja menurut Surat Pastoral Paus Benediktus XVI, Verbum Domini (30 September 2010), khususnya bagian kedua yang berjudul Verbum in Ecclesia. Argumentasi dasarnya ialah bahwa Gereja merupakan kesatuan dari mereka yang hidup atas dasar Sabda Tuhan. Karena itu Gereja yang telah menerima dan membangun hidupnya atas dasar Sabda Tuhan wajib menghidupi dan mewartakan Sabda Tuhan kepada semua umat manusia, bukan hanya dalam liturgi altar tetapi juga dalam liturgi kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Keselamatan mendapat tempat yang sentral dalam teologi Santo Paulus. Rasul para bangsa ini memandang keselamatan sebagai tema sentral dalam peristiwa kehadiran Yesus. Keselamatan tak lain adalah tindakan penyelamatan Yesus bagi manusia yang berdosa. Tindakan keselamatan itu diwujudkan melalui sengsara, wafat dan kebangkitan Yesus. Berkat tindakan keselamatan ini manusia dibebaskan dari dosa yang mengantar kepada kematian kekal. Menurus Paulus dimensi soteriologis inilah yang menjadi dasar peristiwa inkarnasi Anak Allah.

Abstract

Penjajahan di dunia harus dihapuskan. Inilah pernnyataan tegas dalam pembukaan Undang-undang Dasar negara kita. Berdasarkan pengalaman bangsa kita, kita benci penjajahan. Namun jika persoalan penjajahan ini dilihat dari teologi post-kolonial, maka rupanya ada jenis baru penjajah yang selalu berusaha menguasai hati banyak orang sebenarnya membenci apa itu yang namanya penjajah. Dalam tulisan ini akan dijelaskan bahwa ternyata mentalitas koruptif juga masih menguasai banyak orang di zaman kita ini. Refleksi ini akan didasarkan pada kesaksian biblis tentang praktek korupsi yang juga merasuk dalam praktek-praktek keagamaan.

Abstract

Teologi Pembebasan pada beberapa dekade yang silam sangat berpengaruh bukan hanya di Amerika Latin sebagai tempat asalnya namun juga di pelbagai bagian benua lain termasuk Asia. Teologi Pembebasan berangkat dari refleksi tentang situasi konkrit Amerika Latin dan pelbagai bagian dunia lain tentang pengalaman masyarakat akan penindasan dari pelbagai kekuatan politik, sosial dan ekonomi dengan sasaran untuk membebaskan masyarakat dari pelbagai kekuasaan yang menekan dan memperbudak masyarakat banyak yang tidak berdaya dalam cahaya biblis. Hanya persoalan yang muncul adalah cara para teolog dari Teologi Pembebasan menafsirkan teks-teks Kitab Suci untuk mendukung pandangan teologis mereka. Bagi mereka, Tuhan menghendaki agar para penindas “diturunkan dari takhta mereka” seperti yang dikumandangkan oleh Magnificat Maria dalam Lu 1:46-55 bila perlu dengan cara kekerasan. Hal ini mengakibatkan tanggapan serius dari Vatikan, yang pada intinya tetap menghargai usaha para teolog dari teologi Pembebasan namun serentak mengevaluasi metode interpretasi Kitab Suci yang mereka pakai.

Abstract

It is undeniable that teacher plays an important role in not only transfer of knowlede, but also forming the students to be human in all his dimention. Recently Indonesia gives special attention to teachers because of his role in human formation.In His earthly life Jesus is always entitled as teacher, even as the greatest teacher. People ini his time always call him teacher. His way of teaching is really apreciated. He knew very well his students or everyone came to him asking for his opinion or his teaching. His teaching depended on whom he met. To the one who is stone headed, Jesus gives strong respong, but to the one who is meek, he sometimes opens mind for dialogue.For christian religious teachers or cathecists, Jesus is always seen as an exemplary teacher. Therefore in this writing his way of teaching will be analysed based on the pericope of Luke 10:25-30 in order to express his manner of teaching that will become the example for teachers in this modern era.The key words: teacher, learning, the way of teaching.
