Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide information and assist the community, especially the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and the South Maitara village government, North Tidore district, related to increasing community capacity based on local resources, as an effort to improve the community's economy. Service activities are carried out for a month. Activities began with socialization in forming understanding in business and superior village economy, simulation of mapping Village Potential and assistance in marketing plans and targets. PKM results;, Maitara village has quite extraordinary potential, there is fishery potential or many Maitara village people as fishermen, there is also tourism potential, natural wealth. Become a problem in developing village potential.

Abstract

This socialization activity aims to foster and increase the interest and enthusiasm of the younger generation, especially students at Ulul Al Baab Junior High School and Madrasah Aliya Ulul Al Baab. In addition, to socialize institutions, goods and services products and sharia-based practices in business. This is intended to revive sharia practices as a new trend in the field of muamalah for the easy generation amid the strong dynamics of the economy with the conventional system. The lecture and dialog method of PKM took place for two months in Kalumata Village, South Ternate City, involving 48 students from Ulul Al Baab Junior High School and Madrasah Aliyah. Students were able to understand that Islamic banks operate based on Islamic principles, which prohibit usury and apply a profit-sharing system that is more transparent and fair.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence migration in Taliabu Island Regency. The data management technique uses multiple linear regression through the SPSS program. The data used is secondary data originating from the Taliabu Island Regency civil registration office. The research analysis shows that the results of the partial test of the influence of marital status on migration show that the marital status variable has a negative influence on the migration variable. The influence of education level on migration can be concluded that there is a positive influence of education level on migration. This shows that there is an influence between the level of education on migration on Taliabu Island. It can be concluded that the influence of income on migration has a positive influence on migration on Taliabu Island.

Abstract

The utilization of coconut waste, particularly coconut shells, in Kaiyasa Village, North Oba Subdistrict, Tidore Islands City, remains suboptimal because the waste is commonly discarded or burned without generating economic value. Limited knowledge, technical skills, and access to market information are major barriers to developing this local commodity. This Community Service (PKM) program aims to improve the knowledge, skills, and management capacity of the Kaiyasa Village community in processing coconut shell waste into high-value charcoal and strengthening village-based microenterprise governance. The program employed an interactive participatory approach through five stages: awareness raising and perception alignment; management and technical training; appropriate technology implementation through standard operating procedures and simple financial records; intensive mentoring and evaluation; and development of a sustainability plan. Fifteen coconut farmers actively participated. The results showed improved knowledge and skills in waste processing and business management. Applying circular economy principles increased the value of coconut shells from Rp700/kg to Rp4,500/kg, providing an economic buffer when copra prices fluctuate. The program also established foundations for a structured, transparent, and sustainable business group.
