Abstract

Abstract This paper explains the Prophet's methods in conveying Islamic values to other religious communities: musyrik (polytheist) dan Ahli Kitab (Jews and Christian) in Mecca and Madinah phases. Qur'anic verses as well as tafsir will be resources and also other literatures on Prophet history. Some methods applied by Prophet to convey Islamic values to other religious community are: (1) dialogue method; (2) historical method; and (3) analogical method. The implementation of the methods is based on moral values in introducing Islam in the context of multicultural society throughout prophetical period, Mecca and Madina. So, every da'i Islam should make the principles as a guide in the contemporary Muslim life.

Abstract

Islamic educational institutions face complex policy-making challenges amid the surge of educational data that has not been optimally utilized. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the utilization of educational big data in the policy-making process at Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Method: The study employs a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory strategy, involving 15 Islamic educational institutions as research subjects through surveys and in-depth interviews. Results: Findings reveal that 73.3% of institutions have not systematically utilized big data in policy-making; however, institutions that have adopted data analytics demonstrated a 41.2% improvement in policy effectiveness. Conclusion: The structured utilization of big data is proven to enhance the quality of evidence-based policy-making in Islamic educational institutions.
