Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internal and external factors on non-performing financing in Islamic commercial banks and Islamic business units in Indonesia. Data is collected from publications of Bank Indonesia, the Central Statistics Agency, and the Financial Services Authority. Samples were taken from January 2010 to December 2017. Data were analyzed using Fisher’s exact test, Student's t-test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results identify that Finance to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), inflation, and BI rate have a significant effect on non-performing financing. Based on the results, this study recommends that Islamic commercial banks and Islamic business units need to stabilize their financial ratios.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of social assistance and capital expenditure on poverty levels in Aceh Province from 2006 to 2023. The research employs a quantitative method using secondary data from the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Aceh website and the Ministry of Finance’s DJPK website. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to examine the relationship between the independent variables (Social Assistance and Capital Expenditure) and the dependent variable (poverty levels). The results indicate that social assistance has no significant partial effect on poverty reduction, while capital expenditure has a significant impact. However, simultaneously, these variables do not exert a strong enough influence to reduce poverty jointly. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government prioritize capital expenditure as an effective strategy to reduce poverty in Aceh, while also evaluating and enhancing social assistance programs for better impact.

The study population was 1,461 people, with a sample of 94 people taken using purposive sampling method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include simple linear regression analysis, validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. t test results show a significant positive effect (5.024, p 0.05) with an R Square of 21.5%, indicating that although the village website has a positive effect, many other factors affect the performance of the apparatus. The main obstacle is incomplete information.
