ABSTRACT Majelis Taklim as a community-based nonformal Islamic educational institution plays an important role in improving religious literacy, character formation, and strengthening the social capacity of society. However, the management of Majelis Taklim in various regions is still carried out in a relatively simple manner and lacks clear institutional standards, resulting in variations in the quality of learning programs, curriculum implementation, and administrative systems. This study aims to analyze the management conditions of Majelis Taklim and to formulate an institutional standardization model that can strengthen its role in nonformal religious education and human resource development in Tanah Bumbu Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, focus group discussions, and institutional document analysis, and were analyzed interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that strengthening the institutional capacity of Majelis Taklim can be achieved through the implementation of a standardization model that includes the development of a thematic curriculum, improvement of educators’ competencies (ustaz/ustazah), more accountable administrative management, and continuous program evaluation. The implementation of this model contributes to improving the quality of learning processes, strengthening participants’ engagement, and promoting the development of the community’s social and religious capacities. Therefore, the Majelis Taklim standardization model developed in this study can serve as a strategic framework for strengthening community-based nonformal religious education and human resource development. ABSTRAK Majelis Taklim sebagai lembaga pendidikan keagamaan nonformal berbasis komunitas memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaan, pembentukan karakter, serta penguatan kapasitas sosial masyarakat. Namun, pengelolaan Majelis Taklim di berbagai daerah masih berlangsung secara sederhana dan belum memiliki standar kelembagaan yang jelas sehingga kualitas program pembelajaran, kurikulum, serta sistem administrasi berjalan secara beragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi pengelolaan Majelis Taklim serta merumuskan model standarisasi kelembagaan yang dapat memperkuat perannya dalam pendidikan keagamaan nonformal dan pembangunan sumber daya manusia di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, diskusi kelompok terarah, serta analisis dokumen kelembagaan, kemudian dianalisis secara interaktif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kelembagaan Majelis Taklim dapat dilakukan melalui penerapan model standarisasi yang mencakup pengembangan kurikulum tematik, peningkatan kompetensi pendidik (ustaz/ustazah), pengelolaan administrasi yang lebih akuntabel, serta evaluasi program secara berkelanjutan. Implementasi model tersebut berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, memperkuat partisipasi jamaah, serta mendorong pengembangan kapasitas sosial dan religius masyarakat. Dengan demikian, model standarisasi Majelis Taklim yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini dapat menjadi kerangka strategis dalam penguatan pendidikan keagamaan nonformal dan pembangunan sumber daya manusia berbasis komunitas.
