Abstract

Abstract. Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are the largest part of all economic activities of the people, such as farmers, breeders, miners, craftsmen, traders, fishermen, and providers of various services. MSMEs are one of the pillars of the economy, with high employment absorption and contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Therefore, support is needed to encourage the growth of new business actors and improve the competitiveness of MSMEs, so that they can develop into larger businesses. However, there are MSMEs that face various obstacles in developing their businesses, namely in obtaining business financing. One of the programs that can help improve access to financing for business actors is the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR). This study aims to determine the extent of the influence of KUR and MSMEs on the economic growth of West Java Province in 2018-2022. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, using panel data with 27 districts/cities in West Java Province for 5 years. The method used for this research is panel data regression analysis with Fixed Effect Model (FEM) estimation. The results showed that KUR had a significant negative effect on economic growth with a coefficient value of -0.039642 and a probability of 0.0000, while MSMEs had a significant positive effect on economic growth with a coefficient value of 0.704885 and a probability of 0.0000. Abstrak. Pelaku usaha skala mikro, kecil, dan menengah merupakan bagian terbesar dari seluruh aktivitas ekonomi rakyat, seperti petani, peternak, petambang, pengrajin, pedagang, nelayan, dan penyedia berbagai jasa. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) menjadi salah satu penopang perekonomian, dengan penyerapan tenaga kerja yang tinggi, serta memiliki kontribusi terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB). Maka dari itu, diperlukan dukungan untuk mendorong pertumbuhan pelaku usaha baru dan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM, sehingga dapat berkembang menjadi usaha yang lebih besar. Namun, terdapat UMKM yang menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam mengembangkan usahanya yakni dalam mendapatkan pembiayaan usaha. Salah satu program yang dapat membantu untuk meningkatkan akses pembiayaan kepada pelaku usaha yaitu penyaluran Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh KUR dan UMKM terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2018-2022. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan data panel dengan 27 kabupaten/kota Provinsi Jawa Barat selama 5 tahun. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi data panel dengan estimasi Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KUR berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan nilai koefisien sebesar -0.039642 dan probabilitas 0.0000, sedangkan UMKM berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0.704885 dan probabilitas 0.0000.

Abstract

This research explores the antioxidant and fiber content of edamame pudding (Glycine max) and its potential health benefits, particularly in preventing hypercholesterolemia. Edamame, a rich source of antioxidants such as isoflavones and phenolic compounds, is known for its ability to combat oxidative stress and reduce cardiovascular risk. Additionally, its high fiber content, particularly soluble fiber, plays a significant role in lowering LDL cholesterol levels. This study analyzes the antioxidant levels and fiber content in edamame pudding and evaluates its potential to serve as a health-promoting snack. The findings highlight the pudding’s role in cholesterol management, heart disease prevention, and weight control. Edamame pudding offers a practical and nutritious alternative to traditional snacks, with the potential to support cardiovascular health. Recommendations for further research include long-term clinical trials to assess the sustained effects of edamame pudding on heart health and studies comparing its nutrient bioavailability to other health-promoting snacks.
