Abstract

Smart fisheries are increasingly using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to increase their sustainability. The potential fishing zone (PFZ) forecasts several fish aggregation zones throughout the duration of the prediction in any sea. The autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) and random forest model are used in the current study to provide a technique for locating viable fishing zones in deep marine seas. A significant amount of data was gathered for the database's creation, including monitoring information for Indian fishing fleets from 2017 to 2019. Using expert label datasets for validation, it was discovered that the model's detection accuracy was 98%. Our method uses salinity and dissolved oxygen, two crucial markers of water quality, to identify suitable fishing zones for the first time. In the current research, a system was created to identify and map the quantity of fishing activity. The tests use a number of parameter measurements to evaluate the contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CECT) approach to machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) methodologies. The findings showed that the CECT had a 94% accuracy rate compared to a convolutional neural network's 92% accuracy rate for the 80% training data and 20% testing data.

Abstract

An antenna may be thought of as a temporary tool that directs radio waves for transmission or reception. Aside from being inexpensive, small, easy to manufacture, and compatible with integrated electronics, the microstrip patch antenna (MPA) offers several other benefits as well. These two methods are often seen as low-cost, adaptable, dependable, high-speed data connection choices that promote user mobility. An overview of how MPA have been used throughout the last several decades is provided in this article. It has been suggested that there are many approaches to enhance the performance of MPA, including the use of composite antennas, highly integrated antenna/array and feeding networks, operating at relatively high frequencies, and using cutting-edge manufacturing methods. Dual or multiband antennas are essential for meeting the demands of wireless services in this rapidly evolving wireless communication environment. Here is an overview of the patch antenna literature for wireless local area network (WLAN) and worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) applications.

Abstract

Wireless communication technology is well-established, and several antennas have been developed and produced specifically for this purpose. However, antenna performance and communication system development need to be enhanced in order to adapt to the present era. The performance of the antenna is significantly influenced by its design. Thus, this work produced a novel wideband antenna design via the use of a frequency reconfigurable approach. In the recommended study, microstrip patch antennas (MPAs) were used in wideband applications to switch frequencies using shunt-series microelectromechanical systems (MEMS). The suggested antenna, which has two switches built into it, is tested in ON-ON, OFF-ON, and OFF-OFF switching scenarios. Radiation pattern, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), gain, bandwidth, and return loss are among the antenna performance metrics used to assess the suggested antenna's performance in each switching situation. The simulation findings suggest that the optimal antenna design for usage in wireless communication systems is one that works well with a shunt-series MEMS switch.

Abstract

The fifth generation (5G) of mobile telecommunication standards is intended to offer better performance and efficiency. One of the most significant difficulties in delivering safe data transfer through the transmission channel in the emerging 5G technology is channel-coding security. This research primarily focused on offering information transmission that is secure in the place of novel assaults such as side-channel attacks. In this research, we present a low-density parity check (LDPC) encoder that is constructed using the multiplicative masking method to overcome side-channel attacks, one of the most significant security concerns for the upcoming 5G system. As a result, it offers greater security, reduced complexity, and higher performance. Power, area, and delay can all be calculated using LDPC codes. Comparing multiplicative masking implemented LDPC encoders to ordinary channel coding techniques in terms of security seen that multiplicative masking implemented LDPC encoders offer more security. The program Xilinx ISE 14.7 can synthesize the analysis. The advantage of multiplicative masking is that it offers a promising level of security through the principle of randomization, which is the foundation of the procedure. According to the analysis, the secured transmission of the data by the proposed multiplicative masking implemented LDPC encoder is increased.

Abstract

This article considers and studies a hybrid energy storage system as a potential replacement for a utility grid. It also examines its organisational structure. The hybrid energy storage technology is used to ensure a constant supply of convenient grid electricity that is sufficient to handle changing power spikes. Batteries are used to stabilise the surges with measurable variation, whereas a massive capacitor is utilised to stabilise the surges with fast variation. In isolated areas where connecting to the main utility grid is impractical, standalone renewable generation may provide the advantage of a reduced operational cost as well as a reduction in protection fees. In order to encourage non-conventional power production in the overall renewable energy system, advancements in solid oxide fuel-cell technology and solar photovoltaic (PV) technology have also been made. Grid-coupled solar PV energy producing systems are being extensively used worldwide, and solar PV modules are increasingly being used in residential applications linked to the electrical grid.
