Abstract

The problem of garbage in the world is a serious issue that must be solved. Good garbage management is a must for now and in the future. Good garbage management is accompanied by a system of classification and sorting of garbage types. This study aims to create a mobile-based application that can select the type of garbage and enter the garbage data into a database. The database used is a Google SpreadSheet that will accommodate data from the output issued by the garbage detection mobile application. The image data used in this study amounted to 10108 images and was divided into six different garbage classes. This study uses a deep learning platform called densenet121 with an accuracy rate of 99.6% to train the image data. DenseNet121 has been modified and added an optimization based on a genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm applied in the optimization uses four generations. The model resulting from the training of the two approaches is converted into a model that mobile applications can access. The mobile application based on a deep learning model accommodates the detection data of the type of garbage, the level of detection accuracy, and the GPS location of the garbage. In the final experiment of the mobile application, the delay time in sending data was very fast, which was less than one second (0.86s).

Abstract

Manusia dan air merupakan komponen yang tidak terpisahkan. Kebutuhan manusia terhadap air telah menjadi kebutuhan primer yang tidak tergantikan. Akan tetapi, penyediaan air untuk kebutuhan primer memiliki berbagai macam tantangan. Salah satu tantangannya adalah penyaluran dan manajemen air. Desa Ngargosari memiiki tantangan serupa berkaitan dengan ketersediaan air untuk kebutuhan warga. Desa Ngargosari memiliki mata air sendiri yang disebut Kedung Cangkring tetapi belum dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber mata air warga. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penambahan debit air untuk kebutuhan warga Desa Ngargosari. Tahapan metode dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate). Hasil akhir yang diperoleh dalam pengabdian ini adalah pemasangan pompa hydram untuk menyalurkan air dari sumber mata air Kedung Cangkring ke bak penampungan warga. Dampak penyaluran air yang dihasilkan melalui pengoptimalan pembukaan katup udara mencapai 10 liter per menit

Abstract

In recent years, the number of automobiles in Indonesia has expanded. This rise has a knock-on impact on street crime. On this problem based, a preventative road safety prevention system is required. This research contribution is to develop an efficient algorithm for detecting vehicle license plates. This study's technique incorporates artificial intelligence technology with character translation. Yolov3 and Yolov4 are the artificial intelligence systems employed in this study. The detection of objects in the form of license plates is the result of this approach. In artificial intelligence, object detection results are utilized as input for image processing. The image processing method is used to translate characters. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is used to decode the characters in the image precisely. The artificial intelligence data training resulted in a 76.53% and 89.55% mean average precision (mAP) level. Using OCR, the system is capable of character translation. These results give an opportunity to develop more complex image-processing applications.

Abstract

Waste management is an essential component of urban management. As a waste solution, waste management is critical. The goal of this research is to develop a waste management database that is coupled with a mechatronic robot system. Compiling and gathering data on the sorts of garbage found in Indonesia is the starting point for this research. Indonesian waste is classified into six groups: cardboard, paper, metal, plastic, medical, and organic. The total images of the six groups are estimated at 1880 pictures. According to this picture database, Artificial Intelligence (AI) training was used to create the classification system. In the final AI process, the test method was performed using DenseNet121, DenseNet169, and DenseNet201. Testing using artificial intelligence DenseNet201 across 40 epochs yields the best 92,7% accuracy rate. Simultaneously with Artificial Intelligence testing, a mechatronic system is created as a direct implementation of the Artificial Intelligence output model. A four-servo arm robot with dc motor wheel mobility is included in the mechatronic system. According to these findings, the Indonesian waste database can be categorized correctly using Artificial Intelligence and the mechatronics system. This higher accuracy of the artificial intelligence model may be used to create a waste-sorting robot prototype.

Abstract

Numerasi atau yang lebih dikenal dengan pembelajaran angka saat ini menjadi dasar fundamental pembelajaran di sekolah. Numerasi menjadi bagian penting dalam menunjang bidang ilmu lain dan dapat diterapkan secara aplikatif di kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dibutuhkan suatu pendekatan teknologi yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran numerasi sekaligus literasi kepemimpinan menggunakan teknologi digital. Pengabdian ini dilakukan secara luring dengan melakukan kegiatan di Sanggar Bimbingan (SB) Kepong Malaysia. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dibagi menjadi dua sesi yaitu pembelajaran numerasi dan literasi kepemimpinan menggunakan teknologi digital. Sesi numerasi menggunakan teknologi digital berupa game interaktif yang dapat dimainkan secara berkelompok. Sedangkan untuk sesi pembelajaran digital menggunakan video interaktif sekaligus pemaparan. Metode evaluasi yang digunakan adalah angket dengan butir tingkat penerimaan teknologi terhadap dua topik numerasi dan kepemimpinan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukan bahwa sebesar 82,7% anak-anak memahami pembelajaran numerasi menggunakan teknologi digital dan 86,5% terkait pemahaman kepemimpinan. Implementasi penggunaan teknologi dalam menunjang pembelajaran numerasi dan kepemimpinan di SB Kepong memberikan dampak positif terhadap penerimaan terhadap anak-anak Sanggar Bimbingan.
