Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the science interconnection approach in learning Fiqh carried out at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Islam Modern (MTs MIM) Langsa Aceh. This study uses a qualitative research approach. Meanwhile, data collection was carried out through in-depth observation and interview techniques. After the data is collected, the writer sorts the data, presents the data, and draws conclusions. The results showed that the teachers of Jurisprudence at MTs MIM  Langsa applied the interconnection approach of Jurisprudence subjects with subjects related to other subjects and connected to learning resources that utilized the sophistication of information technology. The interconnection approach applied at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Langsa Aceh succeeded in re-knitting various religious and scientific subjects that previously occurred in a scientific and teaching dichotomy.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan merupakan sebuah skill yang harus dimiliki seorang kepala madrasah. Akan tetapi, kepemimpinan bukanlah hal tunggal bagi seorang pemimpin, tentunya perlu memahami kebutuhan sebuah organisasi yang dipimpin. Namun kenyataan di lapangan masih ada pemimpin yang melupakan hal ini, terutama tentang budaya organisasi itu sendiri. Sehingga peneliti bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi lebih dalam tentang kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan budaya organisasi di salah satu Madrasah Aliyah Kota Langsa. Sebanyak delapan kepala madrasah Aliyah di wawancara dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan case study dengan tipe rancangan studi kasus intrinsik yang berlandaskan pada paradigma post positivist. Data wawancara dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan software Nvivo 12 Plus. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam pengembangan budaya organisasi di Madrasah Aliyah kota Langsa diawali dengan pengembangan visi misi madrasah, keteladanan, pengambilan keputusan, dan kepedulian terhadap team dalam mencerdaskan peserta didik, serta kepemimpinan dikendalikan dengan pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai religius, iklim yang kondusif, dan budaya mutu yang mengikuti tren arah transformasi pendidikan terkini.

Abstract

This study examined the application of participatory action research to foster leadership qualities among middle-ranged members of the Muhammadiyah organization in Kota Langsa. Grounded in humanistic and constructivist principles, this approach seeks to unlock the potential traits of the organization's members. To achieve this objective, community-based participatory research (CBPR) of the participatory action research (PAR) design was employed, enabling active member participation and fostering improved leadership capabilities. The findings highlighted the significance of CBPR and the paradigm approach in validating members' experiences in leading, management, and organization. Through this study, the members have benefited themselves, their families, and the broader community for the paradigm nurture, contributing to personal and collective leadership characteristics. Therefore, the study contributes to the growing literature on empowering leadership development and showcases the efficacy of participatory research methodologies.
