Abstract

The utilization of web-based Geographic Information System (WebGIS) technology is a strategic solution for presenting and publishing spatial data interactively. However, the development of WebGIS generally requires high costs and advanced technical expertise, which are not always available, particularly in regions with limited information technology resources. This study aims to design and implement a simple WebGIS using the Google Sites platform as a medium for publishing food security information in the freshwater fish farming sector in Prabumulih City. The system development method employed in this study is the Waterfall method, which consists of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The research data include spatial data on the locations of freshwater fish farmers and attribute data related to production potential, which are presented in the form of interactive thematic maps. The results indicate that Google Sites is effective as a medium for publishing simple WebGIS due to its ease of access, free usage, and minimal requirement for advanced programming skills. The developed WebGIS is capable of presenting interactive information on the locations and production potential of freshwater fish farming, thereby enhancing data transparency and facilitating information access for local governments and the community. Therefore, the use of Google Sites as a WebGIS publication medium can serve as an economical alternative solution to support the strengthening of local food security in Prabumulih City.

Abstract

An Assessment is a fundamental component of the educational process, particularly in school examinations, as it reflects students’ academic achievement. However, traditional examination and assessment methods often face challenges such as inefficiency, high administrative workload, and the potential for human error. This study aims to develop a web-based automated online assessment system to support ICT-based school examinations. The system is designed to facilitate online examinations, perform automatic scoring for objective test items, and generate assessment reports in real time. The development process follows a systematic software development approach, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. Functional testing results show that the system operates correctly and provides accurate assessment results. The implementation of the proposed system enhances efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the examination and assessment process. Therefore, this web-based automated assessment system can be utilized as an effective ICT solution to improve the management and evaluation of school examinations.

Abstract

PT. Saribumi Sriguna Putra still uses manual inventory recording and reporting processes involving ledgers, Microsoft Excel, and direct counts of remaining items in the warehouse. This situation poses risks of recording errors, data duplication, and delays in obtaining inventory information. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory management information system to facilitate a more structured process for managing inventory data. The system development method used is Agile Development, which allows the development process to be carried out in stages and adapted to user needs. The development stages include planning, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. The developed system provides features for inventory data, incoming goods, outgoing goods, as well as reports on inventory, incoming goods, and outgoing goods. The research result is a web-based inventory management information system that can be used to manage inventory data and generate computerized reports. Test results using the Black-Box Testing method indicate that the developed features function in accordance with the system’s intended functions and requirements. This system is expected to assist PT. Saribumi Sriguna Putra in managing inventory data in a more structured manner and supporting the inventory monitoring process.
