Abstract

Construction projects are complex activities that require control of each element. One part of the element that needs to be considered is labor. In Indonesia, general provisions on construction project reference standards have developed since the colonial era known as BOW (Burgeslike Openbare Werken). Over time, BOW analysis has been replaced by SNI (Indonesian National Standard) analysis and Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28/PRT/M/2016 concerning Guidelines for Unit Price Analysis of Public Works (Permen PUPR No. 28-2016). In this study, the analysis was carried out by comparing the labor coefficient of SNI 7394: 2008 and the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing No.20 of 2016 on column reinforcement work.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry is a complex sector that requires control over each of its resources, one of which is human resources. One of the indicators that can be used to control human resources is by calculating productivity efficiency. In this study, productivity efficiency was carried out using the Cobb-Douglass production function approach method on the example of the company PT Harapan Jaya Multibusiness. The results of the analysis showed that during the period January-October 2023 the value of productivity efficiency achieved was 15% which indicated low productivity efficiency. After further investigation of the causes of low efficiency, we found two indicators that are the main causes of low productivity efficiency, namely the t-start value of capital expenditure of -23.9871 and p-value of 87%. The low t-start value indicates that the sales ratio is not directly proportional to the cost of capital invested or the cost of capital investment. At the same time, the high p-value indicates that excess labor is involved in the production process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of four main competencies of Early Childhood Education teachers, which include pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies at Al-Husna Kindergarten, Pekanbaru. This study employs a qualitative, descriptive approach, focusing on in-depth reporting of teachers’ actual practices in daily learning activities. Data were gathered using observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using qualitative analysis procedures, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, providing a comprehensive depiction of teachers’ abilities in carrying out their professional responsibilities. The research subject consisted of four experienced Kindergarten B teachers at Al-Husna Kindergarten, Pekanbaru, who were actively involved throughout the instructional process. The results showed that teachers at Al-Husna Kindergarten had implemented pedagogical competence well. This was demonstrated through their ability to design Daily Learning Implementation Plans, manage classes effectively, and create a fun and interactive learning atmosphere. Professional competence is reflected in mastery of teaching materials, the ability to manage an educational play environment, the application of reflection to improve educational quality, and participation in self-development activities such as training and workshops. Social competence is evident in teachers’ ability to communicate and collaborate harmoniously with students, colleagues, and parents. However, strengthening personal competence is still necessary so that teachers can serve as patient, authoritative, and high-integrity role models in carrying out their roles as Early Childhood Education students.
