Abstract

Riset ini dimaksudkan untuk  mencari pengaruh kontrol diri terhadap perilaku konsumtif online shopping bagi mahasiswa program studi psikologi UNIRA. Metode yang digunakan kuantitatif. Subjek yang menjadi sampel riset berjumlah 109 responden dari 343 populasi mahasiswa program studi psikologi UNIRA yang sedang atau pernah melakukan belanja secara online, purposive sampling sebagai teknik pegambilan sampel. Kuesioner digunakan dalam pengambilan data, berupa penyusunan Skala Kontrol Diri  merujuk dari aspek-aspek teori kontrol diri Averill dan Skala Perilaku Konsumtif merujuk dari aspek-aspek teori perilaku konsumtif Engel, Blakwell dan Miniard. Hipotesis dibuktikan melalui analisis regresi linier sederhana Hasil ditunjukkan dari nilai sig 0,000<0,05, nilai koefisien -0,773   artinya perilaku konsumtif online shopping pada mahasiswa prodi psikologi UNIRA dipengaruhi secara negatif oleh kontrol diri. Sehingga tingginya kontrol diri mahasiswa memjadikan berkurangnya perilaku konsumtif. Namun sebaliknya rendahnya kontrol diri yang dimiliki maka perilaku konsumtif online shopping semakin tidak bisa terhindari oleh mahasiswa prodi psikologi UNIRA.

Abstract

Junior high school teachers think that the learning achievement of female students is higher than that of male students because students' motivation to learn is higher than that of students. but is it true that the learning motivation of female students is higher than that of male students. This study aims to determine the level of differences in students' learning motivation in terms of gender. Using comparative research method, Mann Whitney test, distribution of trend level and class interval to compare which variable is higher and lower. In the end, it was concluded that there was no significant difference in the results of the study of learning motivation. Comparison of the average scores obtained by male and female students also shows that students are superior only by 1 frequency difference. Most of the students' learning motivation levels are at the middle level.
