Abstract

This research aims to find out how the parenting patterns of household assistants influence the formation of children's character and what factors influence the parenting patterns of household assistants on the formation of children's character in Gampong Seuriget, Langsa City, Aceh. In this case, the researcher only limited the research to the parenting patterns of household assistants with the aim of knowing the formation of children's character. This research uses the format of a qualitative research design, namely a qualitative descriptive design and uses a phenomenological approach to understand the parenting patterns of household assistants on the formation of children's character. In this research, the researcher used 6 sources, 2 as research subjects, 2 as informants for the perpetrators of each subject and 2 others as informed informants. Based on the results of the analysis carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that there are broad similarities regarding the psychological dynamics carried out on the subjects of this research which give rise to several aspects of parenting patterns and factors that influence the parenting patterns of household assistants on the formation of children's character so that they form values. character values of honesty, creativity, religiousness, tolerance, discipline, independence, high curiosity, democracy, caring about the social environment and also responsibility.

Abstract

The role of a teacher is very important in providing enjoyable and interactive learning methods, one of which is block play, to achieve cognitive development in preschool-aged children. This research uses the library research method or literature study approach. In this research, references include books, previous research journals, articles in the form of magazines or newspapers, and other scientific writings. This research provides a description of the role of teachers in the development of learning methods such as block play in the cognitive development of preschool children. Semi-structured interviews and structured observations of teachers who teach preschool children. The contributions of the research include a) interactive learning activities that incorporate games during learning, b) active participation of teachers in implementing interactive learning methods can enhance cognitive development, c) the establishment of cooperation with early childhood education providers and kindergartens, d) creativity that can be created and developed to improve cognitive abilities. The role of teachers in the development of interactive learning methods through block play becomes the focus of discussion to enhance cognitive abilities, so that preschool children have good memory, problem-solving skills, intellectual capacity, logic, and decision-making, especially at the later stages of development when children enter elementary school.

Abstract

The Palembang City Regional Representative Council (DPRD) acts as a liaison between the government and the people. Through recess activities, hearings, and public dialogues, council members listen directly to the needs and complaints of the community, then bring them to official forums for discussion. Public information disclosure is also an important aspect so that the community can monitor and assess the performance of the DPRD transparently. The method used during community service activities involves utilizing infographics to transform abstract information into more visually accessible forms through a dual-processing system implemented at the Secretariat of the Palembang City DPRD. The results of the community service activities revealed that the primary challenge stems from high workloads caused by suboptimal task distribution and communication. The use of infographics has proven effective in simplifying information, supporting task distribution, and helping staff work more focused and efficiently. From an industrial and organizational psychology perspective, infographics also play a role in reducing cognitive load and fostering a proactive work environment. Therefore, infographics are worthy of development as a practical strategy to enhance work effectiveness and well-being within the government sector.

Abstract

Workshop character building di Polda Sumsel menjadi alat penting untuk meningkatkan karakteristik dan motivasi siswa polri. Workshop ini fokus bertujuan pada pengembangan karakter, keterampilan, manajemen diri, dan meningkatkan hubungan sosial positif. Dengan adanya Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini siswa dapat menemukan karakter yang kuat dan motivasi yang tinggi, siswa polri diharapkan mampu mencapai tujuan organisasi mereka dengan lebih baik. PKM yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Action Reaseach dimana akan terbagi menjadi beberapa tahapan. Ditemukan bahwa workshop yang interaktif dan berpusat pada masalah dapat menjadi sebuah solusi bagi siswa polri SPN Polda Sumatera Selatan, peserta diberdayakan untuk aktif mengembangkan karakter mereka dan menghadapi tantangan dalam tugas-tugas mereka. Hasil dari workshop ini akan memberikan dampak positif pada kualitas anggota Polri dan pelayanan masyarakat yang mereka berikan
