Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze: (1) how is the implementation of religious character education in term moral knowing students in classroom learning, (2) how is the implementation of religious character education in term moral knowing students into extracurricular programs, (3) how is the implementation of religious character education in term moral knowing student in self-development programs at an Elementary school in Surakarta. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The primary data sources were obtained from the results of researcher's observations and interviews with school principals, teachers of the Aqidah Akhlak subject, classroom teachers and 31 students in class 4A at an Elementary school in Surakarta. While the secondary data was obtained by researchers from existing sources in the form of evidence, notes and files. Data is analyzed by performing data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that the implementation of religious character education in term moral knowing students in learning Fiqh, Arabic, Aqidah Akhlak, Al-Qur'an and Hadits, and Kemuhammadiyahan. The implementation of religious character education in term moral knowing students into extracurricular programs is calligraphy, tapak suci, hizbul wathan and tahfidz Qur'an. Implementation of religious character education in term moral knowing student in self-development programs is the habit of praying dhuha, Friday infaq, cultum, tadarus, Friday prayers, dhikr after prayers, memorizing verses of the Al-Qur'an, memorizing short hadits and memorizing daily prayers at an Elementary school in Surakarta.

Abstract

Tujuan  penelitian yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar IPS siswa kelas IV di SD Muhammadiyah Kota Bangun, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SD Muhammadiyah Kota Bangun, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara berjumlah 19 orang siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, model Miles & Huberman meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam materi keragaman sosial budaya, persebaran sumber daya alam, dan keberagaman suku, agama dan budaya. Bentuk kesulitan belajar siswa meliputi sulit untuk memahami materi pelajaran. Keterbatasan sumber belajar, kurangnya minat terhadap pelajaran IPS, serta pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih belum berjalan dengan baik menjadi faktor penyebab kurangnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi IPS.Social sciences learning difficulties in elementary school students: Study at Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Kota Bangun, Kutai KartanegaraThis research investigates fourth-grade students' social studies learning difficulties at SD Muhammadiyah Kota Bangun, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The study used qualitative methods with data collection methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation, with the research subjects being the fourth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Kota Bangun, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, totalling 19 students. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative analysis; the Miles & Huberman model included data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study results show that students experience difficulties in socio-cultural diversity, the distribution of natural resources, and ethnic, religious, and cultural diversity. The forms of student learning difficulties include difficulty in understanding the subject matter. The constraints of learning resources, lack of interest in social studies lessons, and the implementation of learning that is still not running well cause students' lack of understanding of social studies material
