Abstract

From the beginning of the discipline, biblical theologians have differed in theirunderstandings of an accredited basis, task, and method for doing biblical theology.In accordance with the existing problems, the purpose of writing this paper are:In accordance with the existingproblems, the main motive and purposes of writing thisresearch are: First of all, to show the continuity of the relation between the OldTestament and New Testament. Secondly, to explain methodology in doing OldTestament Theology through the investigation of historical and biblicalunderstanding. Finally, to call and challenge every leader and church congregationtogether to analyze methodology of biblical theology in order to develop the propermethodology in doing Old Testament Theology.The conclutions are: The relationship between the Old Covenant and the Newcan be presented as follows: God has only one covenant of grace, and only one eternalpeople - in which a person obtains a share through faith in Christ alone, the CovenantHead and the Adam of the new humanity. Herein lies the unity of God's eternal plan ofsalvation, and of the Word as His special revelation to man. It must be put in mind thatthe God of the Old Testament is also the God of the New Testament. It should be clearthat the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ is the same God who created man andwoman, who established marriage, and who redeemed Israel through the Exodus,foreshadowing the redemption of believers through Christ. The Lord Jesus’ concept ofGod as Father contained a truth not characteristic of the Old Testament, but yet notnegating any Old Testament teaching about God.

Abstract

Adapun yang menjadi tujuan penulisan ini ialah untuk memberikan suatupenjelasan mengenai metode mengajar yang Yesus gunakan dalam pengajaran-Nya yangtertuang dalam Injil Sinoptik. Selain itu penulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauhmana penerapan metode mengajar Yesus dalam pelaksanaan PAK di SMA GamalielMakassar.Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penulisan ini adalahsebagai berikut: Pertama, metode kepustakaan atau literatur, yaitu penggalian datamelalui penyelidikan terhadap buku-buku yang ada, baik di perpustakaan Sekolah TinggiTheologia Jaffray Makassar, maupun kumpulan buku pribadi penulis yang berhubungandengan pokok masalah yang dibahas. Kedua, penulis juga melakukan penelitian lapanganuntuk mendapatkan data-data yang berhubungan dengan penulisan ini. Teknik yangdigunakan penulis ialah penyebaran angket kepada siswa-siswi di SMA GamalielMakassar dan wawancara terhadap guru PAK yang ada di sekolah tersebut. Angkettersebut disebarkan untuk membuktikan penerapan metode mengajar Yesus dalam prosesbelajar mengajar di SMA Gamaliel Makassar sebagaimana yang diungkapkan gurumelalui wawancara dengan penulis.Dalam pelayanan-Nya sebagai pengajar, Yesus menggunakan beberapa metode.Metode, metode yang Yesus gunakan antara lain, metode pertanyaan, metode cerita(perumpamaan/ilustrasi), metode ceramah (khotbah), menggunakan benda atau objeksebagai alat peraga dan juga menggunakan metode diskusi. Dapat dikatakan bahwaYesus adalah guru yang kreatif, karena dalam setiap pengajaran-Nya Yesusmenggunakan metode-metode yang bervariasi, bergantung kepada tujuan, bahan, situasipendengar, serta lingkungan-Nya.

Abstract

Jesus is the resurrection and the life. He'll never wear grave clothesagain. When he appeared to his disciples after the resurrection, heappeared not in a shroud of death, but walking in endless life.The Lord Jesus is the Son of God who became man. He is very Godand very man. He was crucified, he died and was buried, and he wasraised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures.The proofs of resurrection can be found both in the Scripture andalso in the history. Historically, the empty tomb and Jesus appearancesto His disciples and many of His followers are clear proving that theresurrection of Chris is real. Biblically, it was the main preaching andteaching of the apostles. Beside that Jesus Himself prophesied andteaches about His resurrection.These three great facts--the resurrection appearances, the emptytomb, and the origin of the Christian faith--all point unavoidably to oneconclusion: The resurrection of Jesus. Today the rational man can hardlybe blamed if he believes that on that first Easter morning a divine miracleoccurred. Further fact is, if no resurrection, there will no church, therewill no Christianity. Because of Jesus resurrection, the believers haveassurance future life. Because He lives, there is hope for the future; thereis certain hope for the salvation of the believers.

Abstract

Pendayagunaan karunia-karunia Roh terhadap pertumbuhan jemaat memiliki dampak pada pertumbuhan gereja secara kuantitas dan kualitas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia (GPdI) El-Shaddai Makassar dengan tujuan melihat pengaruh pendayagunaan karunia-karunia Roh terhadap pertumbuhan gereja secara kuantitas dan kualitas melalui riset lapangan terhadap jemaat lokal. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, pendayagunaan karunia-karunia Roh yang dimiliki oleh setiap orang percaya memiliki satu atau lebih karunia, suatu strategi diperlukan untuk memperkenalkan karunia-karunia Roh melalui khotbah, ceramah, pendalaman Alkitab, sehingga mereka meyakini dan memercayai bahkan dapat menemukan karunianya, kemudian dikelompokkan dalam satu kelompok semua yang memiliki karunia sejenis, dibina, dilatih dan akhirnya ditempatkan pada pelayanan yang sesuai dengan karunianya. Selain itu, faktor-faktor penunjang pelaksanaan strategis pendayagunaan karunia-karunia Roh adalah organisasi yang mantap, menerapkan bimbingan dalam jemaat, dalam hal ini karunia-karunia Roh, serta ketersediaan keuangan, alat-alat dan lapangan pelayanan yang tersedia.The utilization of the gifts of the Spirit for the growth of the church has an impact on church growth in both quantity and quantity.  The research for this article was conducted at the El-Shaddai Church in Makassar of the Pentecostal Church of Indonesia with the purpose of seeing the effect of the utilization of the gifts of the Spirit for both quantitative and qualitative church growth through field research in the local congregation.  The conclusions of this study are:  First, for the utilization of the gifts of the Spirit, of which every believer has one or more, a strategy is needed that introduces the gifts of the Spirit through sermons, lectures, and Bible studies so that they believe and trust that they can find their gift(s). Then they are put in a group together with those that possess the same gift where they are nurtured, trained, and finally they are placed in a ministry in accordance with their gifts.  In addition, the supporting factors of a strategic implementation of the utilization of the gifts of the Spirit are a solid organizational structure, application of nurturing in the church (in this case the gifts of the Spirit), and the availability of finances, equipment, and a place of ministry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe (1). How Transformative Christian Education in Moral Formation in Junior High School Students in Tuminting District, Manado City. (2). Supporting factors for Transformative Christian Education in Moral Formation of State Junior High School Students in Tuminting District, Manado City, (3). Constraints of Transformative Christian Education in Moral Formation of State Junior High School Students in Tuminting District, Manado City, (4). efforts to overcome the constraints of Transformative Christian Education in Moral Formation in State Junior High School Students in Tuminting District, Manado City. This study uses a qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation study. From the findings, the following conclusions were obtained: (1). Transformative Christian education carried out by teachers of SMP Negeri in Tuminting District is: Worship and giving material can lead students to learn from everyday life (2). This transformative Christian education is supported by the process of forming student morale due to deviations committed by students so that materials are provided that encourage students to experience spiritual change. (3). Constraints in transformative Christian education are due to the lack of a broad understanding of this approach that teachers should be co-learners (4). Teachers must develop conversational education that generates a commitment to aware, listen to, respond to, and create a connection between matter and faith From the findings, it is recommended that school principals and teachers seek and develop an understanding of transformative Christian education, as well as provide in-depth understanding to students and provide facilities to support this activity.
