Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors of discipline and ethics at MAS YPP Sukamiskin, which are relatively low, and ultimately provide solutions to the issues raised. It is hoped that this research will be beneficial for all parties in improving the discipline and ethics of every student at MAS YPP Sukamiskin. This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected directly from 79 respondents who are students of MAS YPP Sukamiskin. Based on the research results, it was found that the level of student discipline is most influenced by the firmness of rules factor, contributing the highest variance of 24.616%. This includes three variables: sanctions with a loading factor of 0.902, security personnel with a value of 0.855, and the implementation of rules and regulations with a loading factor of 0.640. Additionally, the level of student ethics is most influenced by the education and morals instilled by parents, whether in the school environment, family environment, or community environment, contributing the highest variance of 22.509%. This includes four variables: moral and religious education with a loading factor of 0.838, the role of teachers and the principal with a loading factor of 0.661, the role of religious figures with a loading factor of 0.720, and the role of parents with a loading factor of 0.654.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament (TGT) bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VII di MTs SA As-Solehhiyah Bojongsoang Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar yang diamati, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan model pembelajaran yang stagnan. Data di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa hanya sepuluh persen dari dua puluh empat guru yang menggunakan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi, dan dari empat puluh enam siswa, hanya sepuluh orang yang lulus, sementara tiga puluh enam orang tidak lulus karena nilai yang tidak memuaskan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya modernisasi pendidikan melalui model pembelajaran TGT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengevaluasi kemampuan awal siswa pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak yang diajar dengan menggunakan model TGT dibandingkan dengan model konvensional, 2) mengidentifikasi perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara kedua model tersebut, dan 3) membandingkan kemampuan kognitif awal antara kelas eksperimen (TGT) dan kelas kontrol (konvensional) pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal pre-test dan post-test (delapan butir soal). Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test untuk tujuan pertama dan kedua, serta uji Mann-Whitney untuk tujuan ketiga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) tidak terdapat perbedaan hasil kognitif awal antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (signifikansi 0,000); 2) terdapat perbedaan hasil kognitif akhir (signifikansi 0,000); dan 3) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kognitif (signifikansi 0,000).
