Abstract

This study aims to understand and know the role of lecturers of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in building character education in Sumbawa University of Technology students. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research using data analysis, namely the Spradley model and taking the research location in the campus environment of Sumbawa University of Technology. The results of this study show that the role of lecturers in building student character education through Islamic Religious Education courses at Sumbawa University of Technology (UTS) is taken with several lecturer roles, namely: (1) Exemplary, the stage where lecturers touch the emotional aspects of students' souls and hearts to be consistent in carrying out orders and prohibitions in religion in everyday life; and (2) Inspirator, is the peak stage in building student character, namely raising the spirit of learning to pursue potential and spectacular for students; (3) Motivator, is the ability of teachers / lecturers to awaken spirit, work ethic, and extraordinary potential in students; (4) Dynamicator, is a locomotive that really pushes students towards the goal with high speed, intelligence, and wisdom; and (5) Evaluator, is a vehicle to review the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of a program. Based on observations and interviews, the Islamic Education course at UTS has succeeded in building students' character for the better.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bentuk penggunaan media sosial youtube pada anak (studi kasus pada Siswa Kelas 5 SDN 2 Sumbawa). Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan jenis informasi yang paling banyak diminati oleh anak (studi kasus pada Siswa Kelas 5 SDN 2 Sumbawa). Untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan dampak penggunaan media sosial youtube terhadap perilaku negatif anak (studi kasus pada Siswa Kelas 5 SDN 2 Sumbawa). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Siswa bisa ketergantungan dengan teknologi dan media komunikasi. Siswa cenderung mengrjakan tugas sediri dengan bantuan internet dari pada belajar kelompok. Dapat berpengaruh pada pergaulan karena kurang kontrol dari Guru. Siswa bisa bebas dalam mengakses semua situs-situs yang tidak baik. Mengurangi sifat sosial manusia karena cenderung lebih suka berhubungan lewat internet atau melalui media dari pada bertemu secara langsung. Kemungkinan besar siswa tanpa sepengetahuan Guru dapat mengakses video-vidio yang mengandung unsur-unsur kekerasan dan agresivitas. Media sosial youtube memberi banyak manfaatnya bagi kehidupan kalau digunakan secara bijak, seperti membantu dalam proses belajar. Selain itu Media sosial youtube dikalangan siswa juga memberi dampak yang negatif, seperti membuat anak-anak menjadi malas belajar, merasa ketergantungan dengan media komunikasi internet dan dampak yang paling bahaya dari penggunaan media sosial youtube ini yaitu merusak kesehatan mata karena terlalu sering memandangi layar gadget, komputer, dan televisi. Maka dari itu dalam mengurangi dampak dari penggunaan Media sosial youtube ini perlu adanya pengawasan dari Orang Tua dan Guru.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the everyone is a teacher here (ETH) learning model on the speaking skills of class VIII students at SMP IT Samawa Scholar. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach and the research design used by researchers is posttest only control design. In this design, there are two groups selected at random, and then given a posttest to find out whether there are differences between the experimental group and the control group in the final situation. Based on the test results obtained and the results of the analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the use of the everyone is teacher here learning model has an influence on students' speaking skills in class VIII Indonesian language subjects at SMP IT Samawa Scholar. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran everyone is a teacher here (ETH) terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik kelas VIII di SMP IT Samawa Cendekia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasy eksperiment dan desain penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah post-test only control design. Dalam desain ini terdapat dua kelompok yang dipilih secara random, kemudian diberi post-test untuk mengetahui keadaan akhir adakah perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil tes yang diperoleh dan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran everyone is teacher here memiliki pengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas VIII di SMP IT Samawa Cendekia.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out and describe the form of using social media youtube in children (a case study on Grade 5 students of SDN 2 Sumbawa). This is to find out and describe the type of information that the children are most interested in (a case study on Grade 5 students of SDN 2 Sumbawa). To find out and describe the impact of using YouTube social media on children's negative behavior (a case study on Grade 5 Students of SDN 2 Sumbawa). Based on the research results, students can depend on technology and communication media. Students tend to do their own assignments with the help of the internet rather than group study. Can affect the relationship because of lack of control from the teacher. Students can freely access all bad websites. Reducing the social nature of  humans because they tend to prefer to connect via the internet or through the media rather than meeting in person. It is likely that students without the Teacher's knowledge can access videos that contain elements of violence and aggressiveness. YouTube social media provides many benefits for life if used wisely, such as helping in the learning process. In addition, the social media youtube among students also has a negative impact, such as making children lazy to learn, feeling dependent on internet communication media and the most dangerous impact of using social media youtube, which is damaging eye health because they look at gadget screens too often, Computers and Television. Therefore, in reducing the impact of using YouTube social media, it is necessary to have supervision from parents and teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to implement educational values in the tradition of playing jaran (horse racing) in Penyaring Village, Sumbawadan Regency to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of educational values in the tradition of playing jaran (horse racing) in Penyaring Village, Sumbawa Regency. This type of research uses a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are: observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis by analyzing all interview transcripts and matching them with observational notes. The purpose of this study is to describe how to implement educational values in the tradition of the main jaran (horse racing) race in Penyaring Village, Sumbawa Regency and to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of educational values in the tradition of the main jaran race (horse racing) in Penyaring Village Kabupa... This research is also expected to be used as a reference. Meanwhile, the Urgency of this research is expected to provide general guidance on the implementation of educational values in the tradition of playing jaran (horse racing) in Penyaring Village, Sumbawa Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the factors that cause tantrum behavior in early childhood in TK ABA Sumbawa and the efforts that teachers apply when dealing with early childhood tantrums in TK ABA Sumbawa. Tantrums happen to all children in their developmental period. Unfortunately, parents sometimes often don't realize that their child is in that period, so they use the wrong strategy, causing an impact on the child's social development to the next stage. Generally, tantrum behavior is a normal behavior that occurs in early childhood because it is a phase of the child's physical, cognitive, and emotional development. On the other hand, tantrum behavior can also be a problem in itself when it appears with a frequency, intensity, and in a relatively long time that usually occurs in children of their age. Therefore efforts in handling child tantrums have been carried out and pursued well, for example by advising children by placing the child on his lap when the child is behaving in a tantrum, teaching children to be responsible, praising and giving gifts when the child behaves well, also calm in dealing with children who are expressing tantrums, then gentle touches with strong hugs and talking calmly to children who are behaving in tantrums and providing fun activities for children who are behaving in tantrums have also been given by the school.

Abstract

Muhammad Darwis or better known as K.H. Ahmad Dahlan was the founder of Muhammadiyah on 8 Dzulhijjah 1330 Hijriah, coinciding with 18 November 1912, in the Kauman village of Yogyakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach to explore visual objects in the study area which, according to the views of local residents, have certain signs or symbols. Meanwhile, in the preparation the author used a type of research in the form of field research, with the aim of finding out real and specific phenomena that occur in society. In order for the data that the author describes to be academically accountable, a certain method is needed in conducting research. The results of the research explain that Muhammadiyah continues to increase its role and expand its work in improving and advancing Islamic education in Indonesia from time to time. A very real result is the creation of charitable efforts consisting of thousands of schools ranging from kindergartens to universities, hospitals, maternity centers, orphanages, nursing homes, social homes and economic institutions. With its educational potential, Muhammadiyah has made a very significant contribution to the development of national education in an effort to make the nation's life more intelligent. Muhammadiyah's educational contribution is quite proportional when compared to all privately managed education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor penyebab pelecehan seksual pada anak bawah umur di era milenial dan cara mengimplementasikan pendidikan seksual pada anak di bawah umur di era milenial. Perkembangan zaman era milenial ini mengakibatkan banyaknya informasi di Indonesia semakin tidak terkendali, bisa dikatakan sekarang adalah zaman dimana semua orang dari kalangan muda hingga tua sudah bisa menggunakan media elektroniknya seperti, televisi, video, film, internet, handphone atau gadget dan media cetak seperti koran, majalah brosur, foto kartun dan yang dapat mengakses semua yang barbau porno. Kasusnya adalah anak-anak dibawah umur yang sedang viral diberbagai media elektronik, terlebih media elektronik menjadi kasus yang luar biasa karena pelaku melakukan kekerasan seksual terhadap anak di bawah umur. Pendidikan seksual pada dasarnya merupakan upaya untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang fungsi organ reproduksi dengan menanamkan moral, etika serta komitmen agar tidak terjadi penyalahgunaan organ reproduksi tersebut. Oleh karena itu cara mengimplementasikan pendidikan seksual sangat diperlukan bagi anak bawah umur, dengan tujuan untuk membimbing dan mengasuh seseorang agar mengerti tentang arti, fungsi dan tujuan seksual sehingga dapat menyalurkannya secara baik, benar dan tidak ilegal. Pendidikan yang diberikan harus sesuai dengan tingkat pemahaman dan usia anak sehingga hal tersebut dapat mencegah akan terjerumus kedalam perilaku yang menyimpang yang dapat memicu terjadinya kekerasan dan pelecehan seksual pada anak.
