Abstract

Praktik pemberian makanan yang tidak tepat dapat mengakibatkan malnutrisi. Jenis Malnutrisi pada balita di Indonesia adalah perawakan pendek (stunted) dan sangat pendek (severely stunted). Dusun 5 Kambuno Desa Lempe Kabupaten Toli-Toli merupakan salah satu wilayah yang belum terbebas dari permasalahan balita stunting. Dari hasil observasi didapatkan beberapa pemicu terjadinya stunting ialah kurangnya pengetahuan ibu terkait pentingnya pola makan gizi seimbang serta jarangnya ibu membawa balitanya ke posyandu untuk memeriksakan kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut tim pengabdian mengusulkan alternatif melalui kegiatan dengan topik edukasi pola makan gizi seimbang dan pemberian PMT. Tujuan pengabdian yaitu memberikan pengetahuan kepada ibu balita terkait pola makan gizi seimbang dan pentingnya pemberian PMT untuk pencegahan stunting. Metode pengabdian yaitu melalukan pretest, edukasi media leaflet, pos-test, dan pemberian PMT. Sasaran pengabdian adalah ibu yang memiliki balita. Dari hasil evaluasi didapatkan  didapatkan 9 ibu balita menjawab post-test dengan benar semua (100%).

Abstract

Data on nutritional problems that are a factor in developmental delays at the Healthy Child Posyandu in Koto Mesjid Village include 0.024% malnutrition, 0.032% undernutrition, 0.080% overnutrition, 0% very short nutrition and 0% short nutrition, 0% very thin nutrition and 0% thin nutrition and 0.016% fat nutrition. The purpose of the study was to determine the correlation of nutritional status with the development of toddlers in healthy children's posyandu in Koto Mesjid Village. This study is an observational analytic quantitative study with a cross sectional design. The research location was in Koto Mesjid Village in 2023. The sample in this study amounted to 95 people. The sample is mothers who have toddlers in the village of Koto Mesjid. The sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques using a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using the SPSS program. The results showed there was a relationship between nutritional status and the development of toddlers with a p value of 0.039. It is recommended that families should pay more attention to nutritional intake, so that children can grow and develop well in health.Keywords: Toddlers, Malnutrition, Nutritional Status.

Abstract

SDGs Desa menjadi acuan utama pembangunan jangka menengah desa seluruh Indonesia. Dalam pencapaiannya perlu memerhatikan banyak aspek seperti kesehatan dan sanitasi masyarakat. Tujuan Penelitian ini masyarakat bisa mengalami perubahan positif yang berkelanjutan dan memberikan manfaat yang nyata bagi kesejahteraan masyarakatnya terutama dalam aspek kesehatan. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendidikan kesehatan masyarakat. Hasil Penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebelum dilakukan edukasi didapatkan pre-test ada 17 warga yang pengetahuan baik (81%), ada 3 warga yang pengetahuan cukup (14%), dan ada 1 warga yang pengetahuan kurang (5%). Tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat dari post-test setelah di berikan penyuluhan terkait masalah diperoleh hasil dari 21 warga terdapat 19 warga yang tingkat pengetahuan baik yaitu 90%, dan 2 warga yang tingkat pengetahuannya cukup yaitu 10%. Kesimpulan Penelitian berdasarkan hasil program kerja yang dilaksanakan memiliki keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan atau edukasi kesehatan tentang penyakit hipertensi dan pengolahan sampah.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) in pregnant women is a nutritional issue that poses serious risks to pregnancy and fetal development, such as low birth weight (LBW), prematurity, and stunting. In the working area of Anuntodea Tipo Health Center, cases of pregnant women with upper arm circumference (MUAC) < 23.5 cm, an indicator of CED, are still being reported. This study aims to improve the nutritional status of pregnant women at risk of CED through nutrition education and the provision of locally sourced supplementary food (PMT). A quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design without a control group was employed. The subjects consisted of 20 pregnant women with CED who participated in weekly nutrition education sessions and received PMT for 12 weeks. Body weight and MUAC measurements were taken before and after the intervention and analyzed descriptively and using paired t-tests. The results showed an average weight gain of 1.4 kg and an average MUAC increase of 1.6 cm. Statistical analysis confirmed that these improvements were significant (p < 0.05). Additionally, participants showed increased knowledge and awareness of nutritious food consumption. The study concludes that the combination of nutrition education and locally sourced PMT is effective in improving the nutritional status of pregnant women with CED. Similar programs are recommended for replication in areas with high CED prevalence, with the active involvement of health cadres and the sustainable use of local food resources.
