Abstract

Fenomena komik strip di Indonesia bukanlah hal baru, namun belakangan ini komik strip mulai populer, bukan di media cetak melainkan di media elektronik online tepatnya pada aplikasi media sosial. Komik strip mempunyai daya tarik sendiri sehingga digemari oleh pembacanya, diantaranya karena mudah diakses dan mudah dipahami. Pada masa kini menjadi eranya para milenial. Milenial merupakan generasi yang ditandai oleh peningkatan penggunaan dan keakraban dengan komunikasi, media dan teknologi digital. Kaum milenial diyakini mendominasi media sosial sehingga tepat untuk membuat komik strip dengan karakter topeng Cirebon utuk memberi perhatian pada budaya asli Indonesia. Perancangan komik strip dilakukan dengan gaya milenial dimana dalam perancangan komik kini menggunakan alat dan cara yang berbeda dengan pembuatan komik strip sebelumnya. Kemudian komik stip dipublikasi dengan media digital yang di fokuskan pada media sosial.

Abstract

Humans need to eat and drink as a source of energy for survival, about 70% of the parts in the human body are in the form of liquid, and human organs really need fluids to work. The human body requires 230 ml of water per day or a total of 2 liters. The types of water are divided into 3, the first is mineral water, demineralized water, and alkaline water. Unfortunately, there are still many office workers in Jakarta who don't really care about the importance of maintaining health by drinking mineral water. There are quite a number of negative impacts caused by not drinking enough mineral water, but they are ignored, or underestimated.

Abstract

The establishment of the Halo Jiwa Indonesia community was motivated by the issue of mental health in Indonesia, which is still not highlighted by the public and the government. One of Halo Jiwa Indonesia's visual identities is found in the logo. Judging from the analysis of the data that has been obtained from the results of interviews and observations, currently the Halo Jiwa Indonesia community does not have a fixed visual identity, thus it is hard to describe the characteristics of the community among similar communities. By conducting a literature study to build the visual identity of the Halo Jiwa Indonesia community, this paper describes the process of redesigning the visual identity for the Halo Jiwa Indonesia community.

Abstract

With the development of technology, comics can be accessed anywhere and anytime with various devices and sites. Comic artists no longer have to rely on publishers to publish their work. Many companies are also updating their products from changing their brand look to providing the new product to a new platform. Webtoon os an online comic platform that has become popular with its application and website. Even though it looks like it wont make any profit, Webtoon has become a platform for novice and advanced comic artist to earn income from becoming a brand ambassador. On the Webtoon platform there are many comic genres, one of the popular genres is the alternative universe where the new original characters enters a world that already exist such as the world of a film or comic. This design aims to explore characters and develop alternative universe genres in webtoon comics that are interesting for readers on online platforms.

Abstract

Although Rallying is one of the most recognizable motorsport in the world, its popularity has been in a decline since 1997, including Indonesia. Citizens nowadays pay more attention to sports that are advertised more in entertainment media. The lack of attention and awareness towards the challenges and excitement of rallying makes it a niche motorsport. To expand the market for rallying media, a rallying-themed comic that tells the story of Michèle Mouton, Group B racer, will be made. The book explores Michèle’s career in rallying, as well as the excitement and issues she faced. The book will help readers understand factors that relates to things Michèle had faced, based on a storyline that is easy to digest, fun to read and educative. It is hoped that a rallying-themed comic book can introduce readers to the motorsport and help understand rally racers’ skills and challenges in championships they participate in.
