Abstract

We have conducted research about seismic activity on Palu Koro  and Matano Fault Zone. This research conducted to relocate earthquake hypocenters that occurred in both fault zone, in order to obtain position of hypocenters more accurately. The data of research are 141 earthquakes with 683 P wave arrival times which is occured for a year in 2013. The method of research is Geiger method with Coupled Velocity-Hypocenter model. This is a method for earthquake relocation, determination velocity model of seismic wave in the 1D subsurface, and correction of stations simultaneously using  Geiger principle. The data processing uses Velest33 software. The results show new position of hypocenters better than before. It is  shown by the decreased travel time residuals, i.e from 0.954 second to 0.69 second. The position of hypocenters which have been relocated is closer to the fault zone. The new position of hypocenters have  accuracy up to 0.01 km. The new model of P-wave velocity in 1D  has  velocity slower than the initial model. There are 8 stations in research area that have station correction values range between -0.96 second to 0.4 second. Correction station is dominated by a negative correction value with the PCI station as a reference station. Keyword : Palu Koro, Matano, relocation, Geiger, Velest33

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the practice of transformational leadership by the school principal in managing inclusive education at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Tulungagung. Adopting a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the school principal consistently demonstrates proactive, visionary, and highly transformational leadership. This is evident in their strategic decision-making, such as implementing SWOT analysis for program planning and fostering critical collaborations with external experts like the Autistic Service Center (PLA) Blitar. Furthermore, the principal's leadership is prominent in human resource management, including the appointment and continuous professional development of special accompanying teachers (GPK), and actively leading curriculum and assessment adaptations to cater to diverse student needs. The school employs flexible inclusive learning models, specifically regular classes with clusters and full special classes, adapted based on individual student requirements. While challenges such as managing tantrum behaviours in some students with special needs were identified, the principal demonstrated effective responses through dedicated GPK support, therapy recommendations, and robust collaboration with parents. This research concludes that transformational leadership is a pivotal factor in establishing and sustaining a high-quality, effective, and adaptive inclusive educational environment.

Abstract

Based on the problems that exist in the world of education, there is a need for the role of the principal as a supervisor to foster teachers to become professional educators. However, from within a teacher must also have a strong will to be more professional so that the goals of an education can be easily achieved. Professional teachers are not only required to master the material but the teacher can develop teaching materials, learning methods, can motivate students and have high insight in the world of education. Professional teachers cannot be separated from the role of a principal as a supervisor. A supervisor must be able to foster, provide direction and motivate teachers, this supervisor's behavior can shape the competence of teachers to become more professional teachers. The method used in writing this study uses library research or literature study by collecting data from books and journals related to supervisor behavior in shaping teacher professional competence.
