Abstract

Sulitnya mendapatkan penghasilan di desa membuat banyak buruh tani yang memilih untuk migrasi ke kota meskipun pilihan untuk bekerja di kota juga tidak lebih baik dari pekerjaan di desa. Kondisi tersebut juga dialami oleh buruh tani asal Desa Jatiserang Kecamatan Panyingkiran Kabupaten Majalengka yang umumnya meninggalkan desanya ke Kota Bandung untuk bekerja sebagai kuli cangkul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan rasionalitas kuli cangkul asal Desa Jatiserang yang memilih untuk bekerja sebagai kuli cangkul di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang melibatkan 12 orang informan. Fokus dari peneltian ini adalah aspek-aspek dari pilihan rasional yang terdiri dari aktor, sumber daya dan kelangkaan sumber daya, nilai atau pilihan, dan lembaga sosial. Dari semua aspek pilihan rasional tersebut, rasionalitas pada buruh tani dipengaruhi oleh sumber daya dan kelangkaan sumber daya serta nilai atau pilihan (preferensi) pribadi.

Abstract

The pattern of top-down development often create new problems for society, among others, issues of poverty that occurred in the area of   education Jatinangor. The local community were marginalized by the regional changes. Agriculture areas which is the place for working has transformed into educational and residential areas. The change didn’t considering the ability of society to change in accordance with the expected development. Various programs of addressing poverty has been done by the government but the level of unemployment and poverty in the region Jatinangor not significantly reduced. The low level of education of the community in reality that is ironic for an area  which has five colleges of higher education. To overcome these problems, Community development is one strategy for urban poverty reduction, Jatinangor has community-owned assets as capital that can be used to reduce the problems of poverty. There are two important issues relating to existing assets include “optimalization” strategy purposes to improve the functioning of the asset in improving the quality of life and solving problemsof poverty, as well as the “revitalization” strategy purposes to improve existing assets or deemed less support or be the ause of the problem of poverty itself.Keywords: Community Development, Assets Based Community Development, Poverty Reduction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to observe the implementation of character education during online learning and its impact on the formation of students' character. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation. The results showed that there was a change in the implementation of character education in online learning such as the media used, methods and indicators of online learning character. The character values carried by the school can be implemented during online learning with various learning methods and student programs. The increasing use of technology helps the implementation of character education during online learning. The impact is that there are differences in levels of character formation such as character enhancement in the value of being intelligent and patient. This is because of the support from the technology and media used. However, there is a decrease in the value of discipline and trust. There needs to be a change in character indicators after online learning.

Abstract

Desa Dayeuhkolot merupakan wilayah yang sering terserang banjir pada setiap musim penghujan. Ketika banjir melanda, dan merendam wilayah tersebut, maka hampir seluruh proses belajar mengajar di sekolah terhenti. Hal ini banyak mengakibatkan banyak murid tertinggal pelajaran. Program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini berbentuk program jangka panjang (1-3 tahun) dalam bentuk peningkatan kapasitas keberfungsian paripurna masyarakat, serta menjadi komunitas yang mampu mandiri menangkal ragam bencana yang berpotensi menimpa, kian hari kian berat. Dengan tujuan utama agar setiap individu dan keluarga memiliki cara pandang, sikap serta pola perilaku yang lebih baik terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Sehingga diharapkan, mereka semakin mampu menjadi bagian dari anggota masyarakat yang saling mampu memberikan kontribusi antara satu dan lainnya. Sistem pembelajaran dilakukan secara kombinasi, dalam rangka untuk menjaga keberlangsungan proses belajar dan keberlanjutan interaksi dan aksi kolaborasi. Adapun pemberian materi belajar, dilakukan dalam dua skema, yaitu skema tatap muka, dimana tim hadir ke lokasi, dan skema daring yang diberikan satu pekan 2-4 materi. Pola ini diharapkan mampu menjaga semangat belajar masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan kapasitas keberfungsian paripurnanya.

Abstract

The research entitled Assistance for Victims of Sexual Violence at the Samahita Bersama Kita Foundation Bandung is research that will fully explain and describe the psychosocial assistance provided by the Samahita Bersama Kita Foundation Bandung in dealing with victims of sexual violence so that they can return to their social functions and help victims of sexual violence in their lives. fulfill their rights, as well as the development of assistance provided by the Samahita Foundation from time to time. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, using documentation studies and literature studies. The results of this research found that psychosocial assistance acts as a friend to tell stories to victims, so that victims have a safe and comfortable space in telling stories about cases that occurred and help victims restore their social functioning.
