Abstract

Cloud computing plays an important role in our daily life. It has direct and positive impact on share and update data, knowledge, storage and scientific resources between various regions. Cloud computing performance heavily based on job scheduling algorithms that are utilized for queue waiting in modern scientific applications. The researchers are considered cloud computing a popular platform for new enforcements. These scheduling algorithms help in design efficient queue lists in cloud as well as they play vital role in reducing waiting for processing time in cloud computing. A novel job scheduling is proposed in this paper to enhance performance of cloud computing and reduce delay time in queue waiting for jobs. The proposed algorithm tries to avoid some significant challenges that throttle from developing applications of cloud computing. However, a smart scheduling technique is proposed in our paper to improve performance processing in cloud applications. Our experimental result of the proposed job scheduling algorithm shows that the proposed schemes possess outstanding enhancing rates with a reduction in waiting time for jobs in queue list.

Abstract

Wireless sensor network (WSN) is one of the most promising technologies due to its size, cost-effective nature, and its ability to easily deploy in the target environment, as well as for its entry into many sensitive applications. However, making the most of the potential of this network is very difficult due to many issues, including the data received from the sensor nodes contains a huge amount of data redundant that negatively affects the overall network performance. Recent years have witnessed an increasing interest in data aggregation technology intending to eliminate redundant data from neighboring sensor nodes before transferring to the base station, thus improve performance efficiency and increasing the wireless sensor networks lifespan. This paper focused on applying three intelligent algorithms (SOM, HAC, and RBF) and describing the impact of data aggregation strategy on WSNs through the results obtained. As well as, an accurate description of the literature that applied these algorithms. A Competitive classification accuracy has been achieved when the proposed work is implemented and tested via the intel berkeley research lab dataset.

Abstract

Over the last decade there has been an increase in number of E-mails or comments to a company via social media sites, to satisfy their customers, the company must take in to consideration these messages and comments and know whether the customers are satisfied with what the company offers or not. Several techniques have been proposed to analyze the sentiment of the comment writer. Dealing with the Arabic language is faced with many challenges, such as it is a morphologically rich language and how to return the word to its original root. In this paper the challenges of dealing with the Arabic language were reviewed and a framework was also established to analyze the comments in Arabic and classify it into positive, negative or neutral sentiment. The framework was trained and tested and then the con-clusions were drawn based on its work.

Abstract

Small devices that can sense and collect data from the surrounding environment have been produced with the rapid development of wireless technology and digital electronics. As a result, a wireless sensor network (WSN) was constructed from these sensor devices to send collected data to the base station for monitoring and analysis. This paper provides an overview of WSN, as well as its architecture and applications.

Abstract

The recognition of Arabic handwritten is received at the same interest as other Latin languages. In optical character recognition (OCR), handwriting Arabic recognition is considered as one of the critical and difficult tasks in the various scientific area. The main issues of this matter were due to the lack of public Arabic handwriting databases and the cursive nature of Arabic writing. In this paper, a new benchmark database is built for the Arabic and English off-line handwritten digits Recognition. The original form is divided into three groups: Arabic digits, English digits, and word Arabic digits which written five times by 100 different academic staff and students of university writers. Our database contains 14500 images; divided into two subsets of training and testing to help researchers through evaluating and comparing results obtained from their systems.

Abstract

Despite the increasing use of cloud computing technology because it offers unique features to serve its customers perfectly, exploiting the full potential is very difficult due to the many problems and challenges. Therefore, scheduling resources are one of these challenges. Researchers are still finding it difficult to determine which of the scheduling algorithms are appropriate and effective and that helps increases the performance of the system to accomplish these tasks. This paper provides a broad and detailed examination of resource scheduling algorithms in the environment of a cloud computing environment and highlights the advantages and disadvantages of some algorithms to help researchers in selecting the best algorithms to schedule a particular workload to get a satisfy a quality of service, guarantee good utilization of the cloud resources also minimizing the make-span.
