Abstract

Digital transformation marked with internet and information technology use has entered into government apparatus learning, particularly the new employees constituting millennial generation inherent to gadget. Kahoot! and Quizizz are online quiz application that can be the choice to make the learning attractive and joyful. This research employed a quasi-experimental method only on the studied group, and the data was collected using questionnaire, observation, and documentation. Data was analyzed using logico-inductive method encompassing thee stages: coding, describing main characteristics and interpreting data. The result of research showed that Quizizz is more preferable to Kahoot! to the participants because in Quizizz question and answer appear on cell phone/laptop screen of individual participants so that they should not see the screen before the class just like that in Kahoot!; the answer in Kahoot! constitutes symbols while in Quizizz the real answer constitutes word, number, or figure; after the quiz has been completed, the questions answered can be checked in order to find out the ones answered incorrectly and mastered poorly by the participants.

Abstract

Abstrak: Peserta Pendidikan Dasar Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil Kementerian Keuangan adalah generasi milenial yang lekat dengan gawai digital, sejalan dengan arus globalisasi yang membawa era industry 4.0 yang berbasis internet dan tehnologi informasi ke Indonesia sehingga perlu pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang sesuai zaman dan peserta pelatihan dasar, dalam hal ini adalah penggunaan aplikasi quizizz. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan dilakukan pengajar pada saat melakukan pembelajaran Pendidikan Dasar Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil Kementerian Keuangan di Balai Diklat Keuangan Yogyakarta pada Mata Pelajaran Manajemen Aparatur Sipil Negara. Data dikumpulkan mengunakan kuesioner, aplikasi quizizz, dan observasi dianalisis secara kualitatif dengan logiko-induktif yaitu sebuah proses berpikir yang menggunakan logika untuk memahami pola dan kecenderungan dalam data melalui tiga tahap yaitu pengkodean, mendeskripsikan karakteristik utama, dan menginterpretasikan. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi quizizz dapat mengetahui tingkat penguasaan masing-masing materi dan oleh masing-masing peserta secara online dan dapat disimpan dalam aplikasi. Peserta Latsar sebagian besar setuju jika hasil pre-test dan post-test digunakan sebagai patokan pemberian nilai aktifitas. Pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi quizizz dapat mengajarkan materi dalam modul dengan menarik, mudah, dan menyenangkan. Kekurangan pembelajaran menggunakan quizizz adalah tergantung jaringan internet di tempat pembelajan.Abstract:  Participants in Basic Education Candidates for the Civil Servants of the Ministry of Finance are millennials who are closely attached to digital devices, in line with the current of globalization that brought the era of internet-based industry and information technology to Indonesia, so it is necessary to develop learning methods that are appropriate to the times and Basic Education participants, in this case the use of the quizizz application. This study uses the method of action carried out by lecturers when learning Basic Education for Prospective Civil Servants of the Ministry of Finance at the Yogyakarta Financial Training Center in the Subjects of State Civil Apparatus Management. Data collected using questionnaires, quizizz applications, and observations were analyzed qualitatively by logico-inductive namely a thought process that uses logic to understand patterns and trends in data through three stages namely coding, describing the main characteristics, and interpreting. The results of the study note that learning using the quizizz application can determine the level of mastery of each material and by each participant online and can be stored in the application. Participants in Basic Education mostly agreed that the pre-test and post-test results were used as a benchmark for grading activities. Learning using the quizizz application can teach material in modules with interesting, easy, and fun. The disadvantage of learning to use quizizz is that it depends on the internet network at the place of study

Abstract

Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) is training for ASN Echelon III which aims to improve leadership performance competencies. Based on the Decree of the Head of the Financial Education and Training Agency (BPPK) No. 82 of 2020, BPPK can conduct distance training as an alternative to learning. This study aims to analyze the implementation of remote PKA policies at the Ministry of Finance. The research method used is quasi-experimental. Collecting data through distributing questionnaires to 26 training participant respondents from various regions (different time zones), then analyzed inductively. The results show that online learning methods make the learning process more productive because learning activities are varied and documented, time and place are flexible, budget allocations are much lower than offline learning. However, there were also several weaknesses, including the lack of social interaction between participants, interference that could occur due to unstable internet networks, and participants feeling tired because they had to sit and stare at a computer screen for a long time. Research recommendations are to improve the quality of the internet network, have independent study and assign assignments before online learning, include case study material as discussion material, and add learning material in the form of videos (not just documents). Abstrak Pelatihan Kepemimpinan Administrator (PKA) merupakan pelatihn bagi ASN eselon III yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kinerja kepemimpinan. Berdasarkan Keputusan Kepala Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Keuangan (BPPK) Nomor KEP-82/PP/2020, BPPK dapat melakukan pelatihan jarak jauh sebagai alternatif pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan PKA secara jarak jauh di Kementerian Keuangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen. Pengumpulan data melalui pembagian kuesioner kepada 26 responden peserta PKA dari berbagai daerah (zona waktu berbeda), kemudian dianalisis secara logika-induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran daring membuat proses belajar lebih produktif karena kegiatan belajarnya bervariasi dan terdokumentasi, waktu dan tempat yang fleksibel, alokasi anggaran jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan pembelajaran tatap muka. Akan tetapi terdapat juga beberapa kelemahan antara lain minimnya interaksi sosial antar peserta, gangguan yang bisa terjadi akibat tidak stabilnya jaringan internet, serta peserta merasa lelah karena harus duduk dan menatap layar komputer dalam waktu lama. Rekomendasi penelitian adalah peningkatan kualitas jaringan internet, adanya belajar mandiri dan pemberian tugas sebelum pembelajaran daring, memasukkan materi studi kasus sebagai bahan diskusi, dan menambah materi belajar berupa video (bukan hanya dokumen).
