Abstract

Abstract: This research article discusses the education village and the effort to make the 12- year study program successful in Lowayu Dukun Gresik. The participation of society in the development of the village community education is the main assets the development progress of the Indonesian state. Education will be able to advance with the support of all elements that are conceptualized in the center of education (schools, families and environment). This research is field research  with a qualitative-phenomenological approach. The analysis process is carried out by means of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that first, the foundation in developing educational villages in Lowayu Gresik is a juridical foundation (Pancasila, UUD 1945, PP No. 20 of 2003) philosophical foundation   with reference to the flow of empiricism, the foundation of religion by making the Qur'an and al-hadith as the basis, then the psychological foundation and sociological foundation. Second, the construction of village education development application is done by involving the society as a major aspect for success, using the humanistic approach, and the pattern of community-based education as the design of the development of an educational village. Third, results of the development of this educational village can be proud of, because the awareness of children and parents and the community began to develop. In addition, the target for the success of the compulsory education program has been fulfilled where there are no school dropouts found in the village.Keyword: Village, education

Abstract

This article explores about the professionality of teacher in Islamic perspective. As long as we know, the professional teachers play a major role in educational process as whole. In Islam, professional teachers lead a double mission (religion and knowledge) at the same time. This illustrates that teaching is hard and it requires someone professional. Professionalism means that every job should be done by someone professional. To be considered as professional, teachers must have at least two important things. They are dedication and professionalism. Islam itself very concerns to professionalism. It means that everything must be done by the experts. As the doer of professional behavior, teachers should be characterized by dignity or integrity or ethics. The characteristics possessed by the teachers will reflect themselves. Abstract

This article explaian about the program of Nurul Hayat Foundation his name Sahabat Masjid. This study was designed with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data analysis used is descriptive by describing data that has been reductively selected and drawing phenomena that occur by understanding based on existing theories. The results of the study show, the first; that program sahabat masjidis one of the pioneers of enlivening and prospering the mosque, where the presence of this program is able to motivate the surrounding community to be active again in worship and participate in fervent droves in following the routine of recitation which is held. Abstract

This article conveys about the dynamics of Islamic education in the Pre-Independence era, Islamic boarding school education as native Indonesian education, as well as the development of Indonesian Islamic education during the colonial period, both the Dutch and Japanese colonial periods. The influence of colonialism cannot be denied in the current Islamic education system. This study uses a qualitative method which is a literature review by analyzing related sources. The development of Indonesian education is quite dynamic, greatly influencing various directions of the Indonesian Nation. The importance of exploring the noble values of national identity to improve things that need to be fixed in the field of education. It can be concluded that we are too hegemony with the policies of the colonialists, unfortunately these influences are still embedded today in education in general.

Abstract

This article is a conceptual study that aims to determine the condition of education in Indonesia. The analysis used is content analysis by combining various theories studied. Education has an important role in the development of a country, including in Indonesia. This article revisits the portrait of education in Indonesia by identifying the changes and challenges faced. Through an analysis of historical and contextual approaches, this article discusses the efforts that have been made to improve accessibility, quality, and equity in education in the country. In the portrait of education in Indonesia, there are gaps between urban and rural areas, challenges related to the quality of education, curriculum, teaching methods, and gender gap issues. In addition, this article illustrates the development of higher education and the importance of the role of the government, society, and other stakeholders in improving the portrait of education in Indonesia. By looking back at this portrait of education, it is hoped that it can create better and equitable education in Indonesia, contribute to sustainable development and improve the welfare of society as a whole.
