Abstract

The system is a 3-level Neutral point clamped hysteresis current controlled Inverter with Wind energy as power source. The input DC Power for the multi-level inverter is drawn from wind turbine generator connected through a rectifier circuit. An inductor has been introduced for smoothening the DC output from the rectifier. The inverter uses Neutral Point Clamped topology. The switching pulses for the inverter are achieved by hysteresis current control technique. This system is advantageous over the conventional SPWM based system as the hysteresis current control allows to reduce the low frequency harmonics while also allowing to control the fundamental amplitude depending on frequency. The outputs for the system are verified using MATLAB simulations. The hardware for Hysteresis current control for the inverter is implemented by using a dSPIC microcontroller. The proposed system can be implemented in households for supplying backup power in case of power shortage and can also be used as a primary power source if wind flow is abundant. It is easy to implement, economical and provides clean energy

Abstract

This paper elucidates simulation of single phase 3-level z-source neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter with PV system. single phase NPC inverter employed due to its advantages like less voltage stress, reduced harmonic content, minimsed CMV and voltage stress is low. Z-source network is engaged to boost input voltage getting from the photovoltaic system, which is manoeuvre in shoot through and non-shoot through conditions. This proposed scheme utilized to enhance the output voltage, minimise THD and the leakage current can be avoided with help of split inductor connected with output of inverter system. sinusiodal pulse width modulation (SPWM) used as control technique for the proposed 3-level z-source NPC inverter. The simulation results of this scheme has been verified using matlab/simulink.

Abstract

In this paper we introduce a hand controlled robotic vehicle. Hand control robotic vehicle consists of a transmitter module and a receiver module. The transmitter will be placed on a hand glove and the receiver will be placed on the motor drive along with PIC microcontroller and motor driver IC. The RF transmitter sends commands to the IC which then forwards the commands to RF receiver. The RF receiver then sends the commands to PIC microcontroller on the vehicle which processes the commands so that the vehicle moves in the specified direction. It is having proposed utility in field ofconstruction, hazardous waste disposal and field  survey near borders etc. This project is developed as a travel buddy and industrial uses. Having future scope of advanced robotics that are designed and can be easily controlled using hand gesture only.
