Abstract

The problem of juveniles today is increasingly troubling the community, especially in a cosmopolitan city like Jakarta. Developed countries, as well as developing countries, also feel uneasy because juvenile delinquency is increasingly occurring which has a negative impact on people's social life. Call it the problem of rebellion against parents, free sex, smoking, and intoxicating alcoholic drinks. This problem also extends to the youth of the church who live together with society at large. The root of this problem is the wholeness and harmony of the family in educating children according to God's Word. This study aims to examine the effect of disharmony in the family on the social and spiritual lives of young people. The method used is quantitative with the Y variable being the social and spiritual life of the youth of the Masterplan Youth GBI Eben Heazer. The results showed that the effect of family disharmony was in the very low category. This means that family disharmony does not have a big influence on the social and spiritual life of adolescents. Juvenile delinquency that occurs can be influenced by other factors such as economic conditions, the environment or it can be from individual factors themselves.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the context, input, process, and product of religious art extracurricular at the State Islamic Senior High School (MAN) 8 Jakarta. This research used the case study method with the evaluation research model CIPP that it was developed by Stufflebeam and his friends. The CIPP evaluation model included four components, they are context, input, process, and product. The results of this research showed that there was no legal rule of religious art extracurricular activities in context component. In the input component, there were schedule, administration requirements of trainers, academic calendar of religious art extracurricular activities in medium category. In the process component, there were trainers’ smart in learning method on medium level, but there was no indicator on medium category in the product component. By the other words, there was only high category in product component. Keywords: Extracurricular education, religious art education, CIPP, MAN 8 Jakarta Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konteks, input, proses, dan produk ekstrakurikuler seni keagamaan yang ada di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 8 Jakarta (MAN 8 Jakarta). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus (case studies), dengan model riset evaluasi CIPP yang dikembangkan Stufflebeam dan kawan-kawan. Evaluasi model CIPP terdiri dari empat komponen, yaitu: context, input, process, dan product. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan, bahwa pada komponen konteks terdapat landasan hukum kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni keagamaan yang belum ada, pada komponen input terdapat perencanaan atau penjadwalan, persyaratan administrasi pelatih, dan kalender akademik kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni keagamaan berada pada katagori sedang. Pada komponen proses, terdapat penguasaan metode pembelajaran oleh pelatih berada pada katagori sedang, dan pada komponen produk tidak terdapat indikator yang sedang, atau dengan kata lain pada komponen produk, penilaian yang didapat, yaitu pada katagori tinggi. Abstract

Koordinatoriat Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam Swasta (Coordinator for Private Islamic Higher Education, Kopertais) has an important role in developing and improving the quality of Islamic Higher Education Institutions. This article presents the results of research on the capacity of Kopertais Region IX in developing the quality Islamic higher education institutions in North Sumatera. The research used a qualitative approach. Interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation were employed for data collection. One of the important findings is that Kopertais Region IX suffers a institutional weakness because it is included in the organization of IAIN (State Institute for Islamic Studies) North Sumatera, as part of IAIN’s Institutional Cooperation Section. The Rector of IAIN North Sumatera also acts as the Head of Kopertais Region IX. The author of this article argues that this institutional dependency causes Kopertais Region IX less performed in developing the quality of private Islamic higher education in North Sumatera. Koordinatoriat Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam Swasta (Kopertais) sesungguhnya memainkan peran penting dalam pembinaan mutu di Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam, namun sayangnya hal ini belum mendapat perhatian dalam penelitian. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan mencoba melihat kapasitas kelembagaan Kopertais IX dalam pembinaan PTAIS yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif, menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa secara umum Kopertais IX termasuk dalam struktur (Organisasi Tata Kerja Pegawai) IAIN Sumatera Utara termasuk sub PTAIS bagian dari kelembagaan kerjasama dan menunjukkan secara struktural lemah dalam pijakan kebijakannya. Kinerja Kopertais IX dalam pembinaan mutu PTAIS di Sumatera Utara belum maksinal/lemah akibat terkendala karena masih di bawah struktur IAIN Sumatera Utara, bukan sebagai lembaga independen dan koordinator Kopertais sekaligus merangkap sebagai Rektor IAIN Sumatera Utara. Kata Kunci: Kopertais wilayah IX, mutu, Perguruan Tinggi Agama Islam Swasta (PTAIS).
