Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of profitability, debt to equity ratio and firm size on earnings management in manufacturing companies in the basic industrial sector and chemical metal subsectors and the like that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018. This type of research is an empirical study. The data source used in this study is secondary data. The study population is manufacturing companies in the basic industrial sector and chemical metal subsectors and the like that are listed on companies on the Stock Exchange for the period of 2016-2018. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 13 companies. Data collection techniques used documentation. Data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression. The results showed that profitability has a positive and significant effect on earnings management. Debt to equity ratio has a positive and significant effect on earnings management. The firm size has an effect but is not significant on earnings management.

Abstract

Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuisioner pengumpulan data dengan cara membuat daftar pertanyaan yang berhubungan dengan motivasi intrinsik dan pengisian kuisioner, indikator nilai rata-rata inivatif 145, pernyataan feedback nilai rata-rata 155, resiko dengan nilai rata-rata 149, tanggungjawab nilai rata-rata 155, persahabatan rata-rata 149, bekerjasama 143, konflik 150, kepercayaan 149, kontribusi 145 dan pernyataan tugas yang diembankan nilai rata-rata 149. hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa analisis motivasi intrinsik pegawai pada kantor camat singkut pernyataan feedback, resiko, persahabatan, konflik sangat termotivasi. hasil analisis inovatif, bekerjasama, kepercayaan, dan tugas yang diembankan perlu ditingkatkan dan harus mendapat perhatian dari instansi kantor camat sinkgut kabupaten sarolangun.

Abstract

Breast cancer is still one of the main problems for global public health. Breast cancer has several pathological characteristics, including triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) characterized by negative ER, PR, HER2 results and has a poor prognosis. Risk factors for TNBC are closely related to Body Mass Index (BMI) as an individual description of obesity. It is known in women, overweight and obesity can trigger breast cancer. This study aims to analyze the relationship between overweight and obesity based on BMI with the incidence of TNBC in women. This study used a scoping review to analyze scientific writings from three data sources, they are PubMed, ScienceDirect and SpringerLink. In the initial search, 797 articles were generated, then adjusted according to the inclusion, exclusion and eligibility criteria to produce 5 articles summarized in the PRISMA diagram. Of the five articles that were predominantly conducted in Asia, four articles stated that women with a BMI ≥25 kg/m2 had a higher risk of TNBC. One article stated that the risk factors for TNBC can be assessed from waist circumference other than BMI. In addition, there is one article that mentioned the opposite, there is no relationship between BMI at the age of 25-54 years and TNBC. The conclusion of this study is that obesity have a relationship with the incidence of TNBC in women.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of vegetable farming pattern in Tugu Mulyo Village Belitang Madang Raya District, OKU Timur Regency. The sampling method used in this research is the unbalanced random sampling method (disproportionated stratified random sampling). The results obtained in this study are (1) Revenue obtained in pattern I with net income of Rp. 10,748,317 of all farmers' average farming income, pattern II with net income of Rp. 20,736,017 of all farmers' farming and pattern III earnings with net income of Rp. 8,663,850 of all farmers' average farming earnings. (2) the most feasible farming pattern for farming system II is big chilli plant with cauliflower because R/C biggest, with value R/C 2.0 then farming pattern is most feasible for farming in District Belitang Madang Raya Desa Tugu Mulyo.

Abstract

The empowerment in the Section of Fiber and Radio Access Maintenance PT. Telecomunication Bandung has not fully well practiced. It seems the Head has done less effort to support the implementation of empowerment, as indicated in less opportunity given to the workers to consult about work either formally or informally and no recognition or reasonable reimbursement for workers with a good achievement. The Head has infrequently delegated the authority for decision making to lower managers while the head is away. Therefore, some suggestions are proposed as folllows: the Head of Section of Fiber and Radio Access Maintenance PT. Telecomunication Bandung should conduct either formal or informal annual staff meeting involving all workers to discuss the problems in accomplishing work duties and to find the solution over problems. The Section of Fiber and Radio Access Maintenance PT.Telecomunication Bandung should give an orientation for aa workers concerning precise job description, applicable work procedure, and the sequence of work management, procedure, and system that enable all workers to complete the duties and to achieve the work effectiveness.
