Abstract

The dichotomy of education that has swept the Islamic world is recognized as having created split of Muslim personalities. Educational institutions produce experts who are qualified in spiritual-transcendental issues, but unable to face the objective reality of social life that demands attention to every change that occurs. On the other hand, experts born from the world of general education institutions are very smart in dealing with the realities of social life, experts in the fields of science technology, economics, politics, and so on. However, it is not uncommon for people to be completely dry, even devoid of spirituality, which causes their lives to be unsettling and at the same time detrimental to personal, family and community life. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a literature review method. The results show that the dichotomy of science is the separation between religious and general disciplines, which in turn gives birth to a new term called educational dualism, namely religious education and general education. The dichotomous view that separates the religious sciences and general sciences is contrary to the concept of Islamic teaching which has integralistic teachings. Islam teaches that the affairs of the world are not separate from the affairs of the hereafter. The implication is that when referring to Islamic teachings, general sciences should be understood as an inseparable part of the religious sciences. The Islamic Religious College (STAIN / IAIN / UIN) must have the courage to review the vision, mission, and scientific paradigm that it has built over the past few decades. The aim of STAIN / IAIN / UIN as a Religious Higher Education needs to be oriented towards the birth of a bachelor who has three abilities at once, namely the ability to analyze academically, the ability to innovate and the ability to lead according to the demands of social, scientific, and professional problems in one breath of ethos. scientific and religious.

Abstract

In modern times, when secularism becomes a mentality and spirituality becomes a forgotten thing, life that is shackled by individualist understanding, compassion and friendship has faded, the material and secular solution is through Ma'rifatullah (knowing Allah). The integration of the Quran and science is an important educational alternative to achieve educational goals. The purpose of this article is to analyze the urgency of the Qur'an in science, the concept of ma'rifatullah (knowing Allah) in the Quran, and the role of the Quran and science in the taxonomy of education to know Allah. This research method is a qualitative study of literature. The findings of this study are 1) The urgency of the Quran for science to provide guidance to humans who discuss natural phenomena that aim to make humans know God through the signs of his creation; 2) The concept of ma'rifatullah in the Quran aims for humans to always study all the signs of his greatness on this earth; 3) The role of the Quran and science in the taxonomy of education as a guide so that science is not misused.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemajuan strategi pembelajaran pada era smart society yang ditemukannya terkait instrumen pembelajaran fisika dan pengembangan instrumen pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan instrumen pembelajaran fisika dan keefektifan instrumen pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Quizizz pada masa COVID-19. Penelitian dilakukan di MAN 11 Jakarta November 2021, dengan sampel 72 peserta didik yang dipilih dengan metode slovin yang di mana kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kontrol dan XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode sampling purposive. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan instrumen keterampilan generik sains. Hasil penelitian: (1) Instrumen pembelajaran fisika berbasis media berbantuan Quizizz membantu peserta didik meningkatkan kinerjanya dan sebagai alat untuk membuat kelas yang aktif dan interaktif. (2) Pengembangan instrumen pembelajaran fisika pada masa pandemi COVID-19 berbasis aplikasi Quizizz di MAN 11 Jakarta menunjukkan persentase kelas eksperimen sebesar 84% kategori baik sekali, kelas kontrol 78% kategori baik, dan rata-rata kelas eksperimen dan kontrol 81% kategori baik sekali.

Abstract

This writing aims to analyze the sociological aspects of multicultural Islamic religious education. Multicultural Islamic religious education is a solution to the plurality of Indonesian society in accordance with the democratic principles adopted by the Indonesian nation. Multicultural Islamic religious education is an important aspect in building the nation's next generation. Sociological aspects in multicultural Islamic religious education are fundamentally reflected by the existence of conducive cooperation between Islamic religious education in the family, school and community environment, good educational control will be realized. In a sociological context, the family is the first and foremost institution known to children. In this case, his parents are the first to be known and provide educational values. Then the school environment, the school at this time is a need for everyone to get an education from school. Schools in this case have two important aspects, namely individual aspects and social aspects. On the one hand, schools are tasked with influencing and creating conditions that allow optimal development. Furthermore, the community environment, a diverse society such as in Indonesia often creates the potential for friction or even conflict. Therefore, differences are a necessity in a pluralistic society. Differences must be accepted as a necessity. Such acceptance will lead to people's attitudes that can accept existing differences. This is what will produce students who have good morals, who will not only make their parents and teachers proud, but also the community as users of educational outcomes.

Abstract

This essay seeks to evaluate multicultural Islamic religious education in the home, examine the issues of multicultural Islamic religious education in contemporary Indonesia, and Identify the modern family's rejuvenation of multicultural Islamic religious education This paper employs phenomenological qualitative methodology using a random sample procedure. Utilized data collecting methods include interviews, observation, and documenting. Multicultural Islamic religious education in the family can be applied in Islamic households that accept religious differences and diversity, equality, justice, togetherness, peace, and respect for cultural diversity both within and outside the family. Multicultural Islamic religious education in the family can be applied in Islamic households that accept religious differences and diversity, equality, justice, togetherness, and peace. The challenges facing multicultural Islamic religious education in the modern era are the level of multicultural Islamic religious education that has not yet reached its maximum level and the diminishing sense of national identity among the future generation, particularly among school-aged children. Ways to revitalize multicultural Islamic religious education in the family in the modern era are: inclusive attitude in life; parental control in providing awareness, enlightenment, empowerment, and role model for children to wisely use the internet or social medias to become a complete human being; parents emphasizing the moral aspect in educating their children; parents instilling values character in children that come from religion, Pancasila, culture, and Indonesia; and parents emphasizing the moral aspect in educating
