Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance, to know and analyze the effect of work ability on employee work performance and to find out and analyze the effect of work discipline and work ability on employee performance in PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. The population in this study all permanent employees totaling 197 people taking, where sampling using slovin formula with a total sample of 66. Data collection techniques used in this study were documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The analysis techniques used in this study are multiple regression, classic assumptions, hypothesis testing and coefficient of determination. The conclusion of this study proves that Work Discipline has a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Office of the Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan, Work Ability has a significant effect on Employee Performance at the Office of Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan and Simultaneously Work Discipline and Work Ability have a significant effect on Employee Performance in the Office of the Directors of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan, which can be categorized as strong.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of SIAKAD system and information quality on user satisfaction at Esa Unggul University, Tangerang. In this digital era, higher education institutions need to optimize information technology to support academic activities. Esa Unggul University has implemented SIAKAD for various academic purposes, including online registration, taking KRS, KHS, and accessing grades. However, there are still challenges such as slow access and inaccurate information. This research applies the SUS (System Usability Scale) method to measure system usability. A quantitative approach was used by conducting a survey of student users of SIAKAD. The findings show that system quality, especially the ease of use aspect, as well as information quality, especially accuracy, have a significant influence on user satisfaction. The level of user satisfaction is reflected in the high average score and positive perceptions of students regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of SIAKAD. However, there is still room for improvement, especially in the user interface and adding features that better support academic activities. The results of this research have important implications for Esa Unggul University in its efforts to improve the quality of SIAKAD to provide more optimal services to students.

Abstract

Penetapan awal bulan Ramadan melalui observasi bulan baru adalah praktik dalam syariat Islam yang melibatkan aspek hukum dan astronomi. Akan tetapi, di Aceh pada tahun 2025, terdapat kontroversi yang disebabkan oleh penolakan kesaksian dua pengamat profesional dari luar Aceh Besar oleh Mahkamah Syar’iyah Jantho. Keputusan ini diambil dengan alasan bahwa pengamat tersebut bukan berasal dari daerah setempat, meskipun mereka memenuhi semua syarat sesuai dengan Keputusan Dirjen Badilag MA RI Nomor: 1711/DjA/SK.HK.00/IX/2024. Keputusan tersebut tidak mencakup kewajiban bahwa para pengamat harus berasal dari kawasan lokal. Kontroversi semakin memuncak ketika Mahkamah Syar’iyah justru menyumpah dua individu lokal yang tidak terlibat dalam observasi bulan baru dan menyatakan mereka tidak melihat bulan baru, sehingga pengajuan isbat ditolak. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode yuridis empiris untuk menelaah aspek prosedural hukum dari pengamatan bulan baru serta penerapannya di lapangan. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan adanya regulatory gap dalam Keputusan Direktur Jenderal Badan Peradilan Agama Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia Nomor 1711/DjA/SK.HK.00/IX/2024, khususnya terkait wewenang otoritas lokal seperti Mahkamah Syar'iyah dalam menilai kredibilitas kesaksian rukyat hilal non-lokal, sebagaimana tercermin dalam Putusan Mahkamah Syar'iyah Jantho yang menolak dua saksi dari Aceh Besar karena bukan warga lokal meskipun hadir di lokasi observatorium Lhoknga. Terdapat implikasi lebih lanjut mencakup risiko polemik sosial-religius di Aceh, di mana penolakan saksi non-lokal memperkuat konteks keadilan adat namun melemahkan koherensi nasional, sehingga rekomendasi mencakup revisi keputusan melalui koordinasi Dirjen Badilag dan Kementerian Agama untuk mengakomodasi inklusivitas saksi lintas wilayah guna menjaga semangat kesatuan NKRI
