Abstract

The social support networks become important to guide the feelings and conduct adopted by relatives. Socialmedia provide an additional informal source of data that can be used to identify health information notreported to medical office or health departments and to reveal viewpoints on health-related topics, especiallyof a sensitive nature. Babylon secondary schools were hunted to be the setting of the study in order toachieve the objectives of the study. This was a correlation study of Babylon adolescents aged 12–15 years.A total sample of 125 participants was achieved via convenience and snowball sampling. Instruments weredeveloped and used in order to collect data. Data were collected through self-administration of questionnaireregarding the study. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23 was used for data analysis.Conclusion: Internet health resources have the potential to be extremely valuable in reducing peer isolationfor adolescents with chronic conditions and facilitating their transition to adult health care. A variety ofInternet resources are available. The study recommended providing guidelines for engagement in dailymoderate to vigorous physical activity which may have had a protective effect on the intensity of IT-relateddiscomfort reported.
