Abstract

Abstract: This article discusses the problem of the influence of YouTube content on the formation of children's character and their solutions. In today's sophisticated era, of course, we rarely meet people who are separated from social media. We can see that lately YouTube has become a fairly popular medium among the public. Character formation can be said to be the spirit of education, meaning that by building the spirit first, a stronger soul will be formed. And the spirit of education itself is the formation of a strong character in students. In the process of character development of children, the role of parents is very important. Closely related to the development of mass media, especially YouTube, parents must be smart in supervising and limiting children's access to this content because people are too free to publish their recordings without any filtering between good and bad. Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas tentang permasalahan pengaruh konten youtube terhadap pembentukan karakter anak beserta solusinya. Di zaman yang serba canggih seperti saat ini tentunya jarang kita temui orang-orang yang terlepas dari media sosial. Dapat kita lihat akhir-akhir ini youtube telah menjadi media yang cukup popular di kalangan masyarakat. Pembentukan karakter dapat dikatakan sebagai roh dari pendidikan, artinya dengan membangun roh-nya terlebih dahulu maka akan terbentuk jiwa yang lebih kokoh. Dan roh dari pendidikan sendiri adalah pembentukan karakter yang kuat pada peserta didik. Dalam proses perkembangan karakter anak peran orang tua sangatlah penting. Berkaitan erat dengan berkembangnya media masa khususnya youtube orang tua harus pandai pandai dalam mengawasi dan membatasi anak dalam mengakses konten tersebut karena terlalu bebasnya masyarakat dalam mempublikasikan hasil rekamnnya tanpa ada penyaringan antara yang baik dan buruk.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era is very influential on the current learning system, especially during the current New Normal. Seen based on the shift in learning from teacher centered learning to student centered learning. The learning system used to still use conventional methods or teacher centered learning where students mostly listened to explanations or explanations of the teacher's material in front of the class and did the assignments given if the teacher distributed practice questions to students. Learning through e-learning is an innovation in the world of education which is expected to improve the quality of education and become a means of continuous learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach related to e-learning based fiqh learning in the new normal era at Mts Nurul Hidayah Andong Boyolali. Collecting data by observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data using deductive concluding. The results showed that the e-learning-based fiqh learning process implemented at Mts Al-Hidayah Andong Boyolali, by using the E-learning application there were supporting factors so that this learning could be implemented, including the teacher's ability to guide students to be more active and creative; provide space for students to get used to asking questions, expressing opinions, and providing learning resources. In addition to these supporting factors, there are also inhibiting factors, including Students having difficulty using e-learning-based learning due to limited internet quota and difficulties in accessing the internet network; students are not fully active in the process of learning fiqh; and difficulties in managing learning time. E-learning learning fosters enthusiasm in learning even without face-to-face so that the material obtained can be absorbed optimally
